The Week in Bum Wine 7/7 - 7/13

With the weekend coming to an end and Monday now here, I want to welcome all of you to another recap of the week in bum wine! First off I want to apologize for not posting a bum wine of the week this past Friday. It looks like there were some unforeseen circumstances and communication problems that caused my guest spot on the Stern Universe show to be postponed since there was no show this week. This just means that I will have that post coming for you this Friday instead. No matter what, you will be getting a new bum wine of the week this Friday!

No bum wine?  A 40 will have to do!
Things were mostly quiet in the bum wine world this past week as I still have not been able to get my hands on any new bum wine varieties. I plan on doing some more thorough searching these next two weeks, as I feel I owe that to all of you readers. In the meantime, the next item on my list is to find a nice concoction to mix with the White Wild Irish Rose. I have been exploring my options, and will be sure to let all of you know when I come up with a winning solution!

In some other blog related news, if things go as planned you will be seeing some new features here at Bumming with Bobcat. I was doing some searching over at kickstarter this past weekend and found some people with some great ideas right up our alley that I felt should be featured here. I have been in contact with a few of them and they have agreed to work on getting some posts done telling their story and how you can help them out along the way. I think this will be a good way to expand the blog and get some new points of view on the site. I feel that getting more people involved with the blog will be helpful for everyone in the long run, and move us closer to getting the radio show going.

If any of you are interested in telling your drinking stories, or writing about anything that's on your mind, feel free to drop me a line and let me know. I would be more than happy to feature some new bloggers on the site, even if you haven't blogged before. Since day one I have been trying to take a different approach to the blogging world, and while some people don't quite understand it, i think that it works.

Until next time. Keep spreading the good word. What's the word? Thunderbird!
