The Week in Bum Wine 11/10 - 11/16

What's the word? Thunder Ale? I have always said in the past that you have to make due with what you got when it comes to bum wine concoctions, and that's what I did this past weekend. Before going out on Saturday night, I remembered that there was still a half bottle of Thunderbird wine in my buddies fridge. We searched the house for some Mountain Dew to mix with it, but none could be found. The only thing that he had on hand was some ginger ale, so I figured why not? Lets give it a try! While it was not on the same level as Thunder Dew, it was a suitable substitute for the evening and I would give it my recommendation for someone that might be looking to change things up a bit from the norm.

Thunder Ale!
I hope all of you had the chance to enjoy my appearance on IWS Radio last Sunday, as well as their induction of me as the IWS Person of the Week! I would once again like to thank Jay and Matt over at IWS Radio for giving me the time on their show to discuss the wonders of bum wine and cheap alcohol to their listeners!

Download the show on iTunes!
While we are on the topic of radio shows, I would like to take the time now to announce the unofficial announcement of the official Bumming with Bobcat Podcast! As of now the plan is to start the show in January just after the holidays with a half hour show each week to start. I will be trying everything out over the next few weeks with some test shows to make sure everything is working as set up as planned. Once I get the show off the ground there will be a chance to increase either the length of the show or add additional shows throughout the week. The official date and time are still TBA, so once I have that for you it will be posted here. If you are interested in being a guest on the show, or have some ideas for show topics be sure to let me know! Leave a comment or send me an e-mail at bumwinebob@hotmail.com.

Until next time, keep on spreading the good word! What's the word? Thunderbird!
