Going for broke (including this month's rent $) at the craps table
Doing a shot of rotgut when you already have the spins
Asking a chick you just met to go back to your place for 'fun'
Driving 2 hours to Philadelphia just for a real cheesesteak sandwich
Picking up a guitar and coming up with a great riff
I find the more I act impulsively, the more success I often have. Tony Robbins,I am not. Thankfully. But with age comes wisdom. And grey chest hair.
All of the examples you see above of being spontaneous,Krude has lived it. I started this week's blog without a solid topic to exploit. I've covered a lot of sordid ground with the Krude Experience so far. But doing a blog about spontaneity is truly Krude. The real me is somebody who faces each day as if it was my last. My bank account and grey hairs can verify that.
I was married in May 1996 in Las Vegas,NV. I had only known my now ex wife for 4 months before we flew to LV to get hitched. Less than 2 years later,my son was born. People who know me since I was young thought I was nuts for doing what I did. But all I have to do is show them a pic of my son at 17 years old. He is a smart, handsome, long haired young man who I am very proud of. No mistake there.

I'm not sure who came up with that quote. But it suits me fine.
Ignorance is not bliss in my world. I like to learn as much as possible before I pull the trigger on a new adventure. Then I tee it high and let it fly.
You have to know when to hold them
Know when to fold them
That fucking Kenny Rogers tune. Somehow, that song makes it way into my skull whenever I'm being reckless (spontaneous).
Buy the ticket and take the ride
Could be a ride to Nirvana
Could be a ride to Camden
Could be the first and last stop
Could be forever on the run
Ambiguity my closest friend.
Pour another round for the fuck of it. Toast the dead. Toast the living. Toast to all the loves you have in life.
