It was only a matter of time before Beyond Wrestling would get a phone call from Hollywood. That time is now. In a press release from IWTV, Beyond Wrestling will film a special "network pilot" on March 1st at Melrose Memorial Hall in Melrose, Massachusetts.
An independent wrestling juggernaut, Beyond Wrestling found a must see stream on Thursday nights with the innovative, one of a kind, industry first Uncharted Territory.
A live weekly independent wrestling show had never been done before.
"Our popularity exploded in 2019," Drew Cordeiro said, in the press release that can be read here. "I would have never imagined how big Beyond would become,".
Earlier this year Beyond Wrestling's YouTube page surpassed 2 million subscribers.
No word on the network that green lit the pilot. There has been speculation among those in the industry that Showtime and HBO have both shown interest in the past regarding professional wrestling.
