On March 3rd of 2020, ten days before states East, West, North and South of Tennessee shutdown, Nashville was met with a challenge all on it's own: A devastating tornado that left a trail of destruction across Nashville and deep into Tennessee. Caught in that destruction was Basement East, a cornerstone of the East Nashville music scene and home to Southern Underground Pro.

The promotion hasn't been home since January - it's last show, "Shorter, Faster, Louder," was held at The Exit/In on the 15th of March - and leaving the promotion scurrying for answers.

On October 9th, at 4. PM ET, they return to action at The Collective with "Swing Of The Axe,", hoping to destroy the mystery of what lays ahead of them.

1 Called Manders will continue his pursuit for Collective domination as he takes on AC Mack for the SUP Bonestorm title. Mack has held the strap for 370 days heading into the match, having defeated Brett Ison for the belt. His reign is the longest in promotion history - one that Manders would love to end.

Ison will take on Erick Steven's in what promises to be the hardest hitting match of the night. The common theme in the S.U.P show is simple: Every man (and woman) on the card is coming in to grab some respect from the Independent wrestling world.

If you look at the names, it's a cavalcade of talent who, for whatever reason, seem to get the blind eye from the wrestlesnobs and nerds who throw around the words "psychology" and workrate around like they've never burned pizza rolls in their microwave before.

One match up particular, Jake Something v. O' Shay Edwards, is going to be talked about a lot after this weekend of shows is over.

Something is starting to gain a firm grasp in promotions like Black Label Pro and AAW, and Edwards is angry and hungry and that's a dangerous fucking combination when you're 6'3 and 270 pounds.
