Channing Thomas vs Andrew Palace

Thomas starts the match by trying to agitate Palace by pulling his hair and then running out of the ring. Palace looks to end it early by going for his Hernia Driver, but Thomas gets to the ropes.  Thomas then goes for an ancle lock and Palace is also able to get to the ropes.  The pace is picking up as Palace hits a hurricanrana and he looks like he is starting to have fun now.  Thomas goes for a dropkick but Palace swats it away and hits one of his own.  Palace goes after Thomas in the corner, but Thomas pulls the ref in front of him and hits Palace with a right hand.   Thomas puts Palace in a body scissor using questionable tactics like raking the eye to keep it on, but Palace picks him up and drops him.  He then hits a quick crucifix bomb for a near fall.   Palace is quickly met by a powerful lariat by Thomas who takes over control again.  He puts Palace back in the body scissor, again using underhanded tactics like the rakes to the eyes and pulling his hair.  Palace is able to escape and hits an offensive flurry on his own consisting of a backfist, an enziguri and suplex combo followed by 2 running forearms in the corner and a lariat to the back of the head.  Thomas rolls to the outside, but Palace hits him with a suicide dive, throws him back in the ring, hits a John Woo drop kick and drops his neck on his knee for a near fall.   Palace looks to end it and goes for the Hernia Driver, but Thomas rolls through and hits a suplex in the corner.  They exchange chops on the apron and Palace hits an Ace Crusher on the apron and get a two count out of it.  They exchange forearms in the middle of the ring, ending with a suplex from Palace.  Palace goes for a knee, but Thomas catches the leg and locks in the STF, but Palace gets to the ropes.  Palace is finally able to hook in the Hernia Driver and hits Thomas with it for the win.    This was a very exciting back and forth match and Palace is able to pull out what most would consider an upset.

Love Doug vs Swilly O’brien

Both wrestlers are looking for their first win.  Swilly tries to use his power advantage early and Doug takes a break to the outside to spread his love to those around ringside.  Swilly goes after Doug on the outside and hits some forearms, but Doug rakes his eyes and sends him into the ringpost.  Doug then hits a legdrop onto Swilly on the apron.  They go back in the ring and Doug goes off the top with a crossbody and gets a near fall on Swilly.  He then hits a flying forearm in the corner and goes for a bulldog but gets thrown off.  Swilly takes over and hits Doug with a powerslam for a near fall of his own.  He then presses Doug high above his head and drops him.  Swilly hits Doug with a gut wrench powerbomb causing rosebuds to fly around the ring and pining Doug for the win.  Doug is always entertaining and spreading Love but is still not able to pick up a victory.

Leary vs Jacob Drifter

Leary is joined at ringside by The Hive.  He starts the match by laying in a flurry of punches on Drifter.  He drops Drifter on his knee and starts talking trash but misses in the corner and Drifter hits a bulldog for a quick near fall.  Drifter goes for his railroad spike maneuver, but Leary avoids, hits a flatliner, then hits a knee to the head for the quick win.  The Hive then attack Drifter after the match and Drifter gets another knee to the head from Leary.  Leary has challenged Stapp to a no holds bared match next week and this seems to be a message to him.

Sea Stars (Ashley Vox and Delmi Exo) vs Higher Society (Paris Van Dale & Armani Kayos

Vox and Armani start quick.  Vox hits a rana out of the corner and sends him into the Sea Star’s corner.   Exo hits a monkey flip and Vox drops Armani’s head to the mat.  She then locks the fishhook in on Armani.  Armani goes out of the ring and makes the tag to Paris.  Exo kicks Paris and is able to keep the advantage until Paris slides out of the ring and Armani kicks Exo behind the ref’s back.  The Higher Society double team Exo and hit double trouble for a near fall.  Paris follows it up by laying Exo on the 2nd rope and crashing down on her with her knees.  Armani then hits a bronco buster on Exo in the corner.  Paris does some more damage to Exo and Armani hits a split leg drop on the apron.  They have Exo up on the corner, but Armani goes after Vox and Exo comes off the top, hits a drop kick on Armani and simultaneously lands on Paris.  Vox gets the tag and takes control, sending both members of High Society to the outside, where Vox hits a dive on them.  She gets Armani in the ring and hits a spinning flat liner on him, but Paris makes the save.  All 4 combatants are now fighting on the outside.  Exo puts Paris face first into the ring post.  On the other side of the ring Armani body slams Vox on a stack of chairs, then comes behind Exo and give her a DDT.  Vox hits a satellite DDT on Armani, but Paris comes from out of nowhere and hits her with a split stunner. The Higher Society follow up with a double team assisted face buster.  The Sea Stars isolate Armani and hit the flopping fish but Paris distracts the ref with her mirror.  On the outside Paris throws the mirror to Exo and kicks it into her face.  In the ring Armani gets Vox up in a torture rack position, drops down and pins Vox for the upset victory.  This was a very exciting match with the Higher Society impressing and getting the surprise victory albeit with the help of some underhanded tactics.  I would love to see this match again to see if the Sea Stars can avenge this rare loss in Limitless.

Another great show from Limitless.  I was excited to see Andrew Palace pick up a win.  Now, I really need Love Doug to get that first win, because Love always wins in the end.  I am looking forward to Leary against Nick Stapp next week, and the return of The Apostles of Chaos.
