Where In The World Did The NWAPowerrr Archives Go!

Why did NWAPowerrr disappear from YouTube?

Over the weekend the archived NWAPowerrr episodes and everything else NWA disappeared on the official NWA Youtube.

This brought the typical chaos and what the fucks from the twitter wrestling community, the squared circle reddit and many other social media platforms.

Why? WHY? WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY.

Of course the word press journalists all started flying around like a murder of crow signaling the end of the NWA.

But then Dave Meltzer posted that they weren't dead - and that they'd stumbled upon something positive. What, exactly?

Here are my guesses:

1. Pluto Tv.

Pluto has been making waves as of late, signing a deal with IWTV to bring in certain titles from their archives while also bringing in GLOW show.

Recently purchased by CBS/Paramount, this could be a good fit for both entities.

2. ROH/NWA Merger of sorts.

Before the Covid19 lockdowns, the NWA & ROH were set to hold a joint PPV with NWA World Champ Nick Aldis to defend against Marty Scurll.

While that never happened, and now Scurll finds himself on the outside looking in, having been ousted in the "Speaking Out" movement, there could still be a working agreement between the Sinclair owned ROH and the NWA.

3. Fite TV Exclusive.

As of right now, the NWAPowerrr archives are still up on Fite.tv - and with the successful run of PrimeTimeLive, this could be a natural extension of bringing in the NWA as a fulltime partner.

4. WWE. Ugh.

What would the WWE benefit from purchasing or working with the NWA? Not much - basically just talent: Nick Aldis and Thunder Rosa, to name a few.

To be able to pull in Rosa, after a highly successful run in AEW, would be a huge middle finger to Tony Kahn.

And you know how Vince likes to flip the opposition off.
