Limitless Wrestling's "The Road" Season 3 Episode 15

The Prestige, Brett Ryan Gosselin and Channing Thomas vs Waves & Curls, Traevon Jordan and Jaylen Brandyn vs The Higher Society, Paris Van Dale and Armani Kayos

This should be a very intriguing match, as these are 3 of the top young tag teams in Limitless and they are all looking to make that next step and make the claim as the top team.  Traevon Jordan and Paris Van Dale start the match.  Jordan has a little fun at Paris’ expense, and she makes the tag to Armani Kayos.  They lock up and Jordan makes the tag to Brandyn.  Waves and Curls double team Kayos and Jaylen hits a springboard crossbody off the 2nd rope.  Kayos hits a jawbreaker and looks to go to the rear view, but BRG makes the blind tag.  However, BRG is met in the ring by both members of Waves and Curls, and they hit some double team maneuvers.  Jaylen takes control until BRG kicks his legs out from under him in the corner and The Prestige work over Jaylen’s previously injured arm.  The Prestige hits a Gory Special/cutter combo and go for the pin, but Paris Van Dale breaks up the pin to ensure that The Higher Society still have a chance at winning the match.  Jaylen spins Channing around, but he flies into the Higher Society’s corner and Kayos comes in.  Kayos tags in Paris and they hit a double suplex, followed by them both coming down on him with the split leg drops, but only get a 2 count.  Kayos comes in and continues to work on Jaylon while trash talking The Prestige.  Kayos makes the tag to Paris, and they hit a heel kick, leg sweep combination.    The Higher Society are making quick tags.  Kayos picks Jaylen up in a wheel borrow position and Paris crashes down on him with a leg drop, but The Prestige break up the pin.  While The Prestige and Higher Society are arguing Jaylen makes the tag to Traevon and Traevon takes out all of the other competitors.  Traevon goes off the top onto Kayos and gets a near fall, but BRG makes the blind tag off of Traevon.  Waves and Curls hit the Wave Check on Kayos, but Traevon is no longer the legal man.  The Prestige throw both members of Waves and Curls out of the ring and cover Kayos for the win.  This was a very competitive match with all 3 teams impressing, but The Prestige take advantage of the situation in the end and come out on top.

Jessie Nolan vs Blade Bandit

Jessie says that she asked for this match as she vouched for Blade, and he has just made himself a joke trying to join the Syndicate.  Blade overpowers Jessie early, and that seems to motivate her, as she is able to take him down to the mat. Nolan ducks a clothesline from Blade and meets him with a boot.  She goes for the Fireball in the corner, but Bandit rolls out of the ring.  They exchange strikes on the outside and Nolan hits him with 2 Polish Hammers back in the ring.  She then drops him with a scoop slam for a near fall.   Nolan tries to catch Bandit with a head scissors in the corner, but he picks her up and slams her to the mat.  Bandit hits a running upper cut, then snaps her neck while she is on the mat, but only gets a 2 count on the pin attempt.  Bandit is getting frustrated that he is not able to put Nolan away.  He gives Nolan 2 hip tosses, but Nolan stops the 3rd attempt and rolls him up for a near fall.  Bandit regains control of the match and locks in a Boston Crab, but Nolan makes it to the ropes.  Nolan goes for soul food, but Blade pushes her in the corner.  He hits a splash and goes for a second one, but Nolan moves.  This leaves him set up perfectly for the Fireball, which Nolan is able to hit, but Blade kicks out at two.  Nolan ducks a clothesline and hits a spear but is still not able to put him away.  Bandit slaps her in the face and Nolan answers with forearms, but Blade pokes her in the eye.  He tries to pick her up, but Nolan slips away and hits Soul Food, followed by a scissor kick for the win.  This was a pretty even match, but Jessie Nolan is able to pull out her second win in a row and continue to prove that she is in fact the Girl on Fire.

Leary vs Billy Avery vs Kennedi  Copeland

This is Avery’s first appearance in Limitless and Copeland’s return, while Leary has been trying to run roughshod on The Road with The Hive.  Kennedi made a name for herself in Limitless and has since been seen in multiple different promotions.  Leary opens the match by hitting Avery with a big forearm and sends him out of the ring.  Copeland hits Leary with some forearms of her own, but Leary picks her up and slams her to the mat.  Avery catches Leary with a drop toe hold and they team up on Leary with both hitting running sentons on him.  Leary rolls to the outside and Avery and Copeland square off.  They go for a test of strength, but Leary grabs Copeland’s leg, pulls her out of the ring and tosses her headfirst into the ring post.  Leary now comes in the ring and goes after Avery.  Avery gets the advantage and lays some chops into Leary in the corner followed by a running boot.  He tries to go for a bulldog, but Leary stops that attempt and lays Avery out with a Blue Thunder Bomb.  Leary drives some knees into a downed Avery then throws him across the ring.  Copeland tries to come back to the ring, but Leary knocks her out of the ring and continues to focus on Avery.  He twists on Avery’s head.  Avery is able to escape, but Leary drops him with a flatliner.  Leary goes to the top rope, but Kennedi hits the ropes forcing him to lose his balance.  They exchange strikes on the turnbuckle and Kennedi brings Leary down with a superplex.  Billy hits a splash and they both try to cover Leary, but the ref reminds them that only 1 can win. Billy and Kennedi go for a double chokeslam, but Leary smashes their heads together.  Leary drops Kennedi with a stalling suplex and is back in control.  Leary goes to drive his knee into Kennedi’s head, but Avery pushes her aside and takes the knee himself, proving not only that chivalry is not dead but that he is in fact Brave Billy.  Leary goes for the pin, but Kennedi breaks it up and hits Leary with a spinning DDT for a near fall.  Kennedi hits Leary with a German Suplex, then Billy holds Leary in place while Kennedi gets chairs and a board to set up a table.  They drive Leary through the board with a double choke slam.  Avery holds Leary and Kennedi goes for a knee, but Leary moves, and she hits Avery.  Leary gives Kennedi a swinging neck breaker and Avery a package piledriver onto Kennedi.  Leary ties Avery up in the ropes and makes him watch as he drives a knee into Kennedi’s head and picks up the win.  Billy and Kennedi seemed to work well together at times, and I would like to see them as a team, but it wasn’t enough for either to get the win over the dastardly Leary.

Mac Daniels Vs Adam Booker

Booker has the experience advantage, but Mac feels like Booker is beneath him and does not deserve to have a main event spot.  Booker brings Mac to the mat, which annoys Mac, as he rolls to the outside.  Mac poses on the apron, which gives Booker the opportunity to bring him  in the ring the hard way.  Booker then hits a clothesline taking Mac back to the outside where Booker lays in some chops.   Booker slams Mac’s head into the apron, then hits a guillotine leg drop on the apron, but Mac crotches him coming back in the ring and drives his shoulder into the post.  This gives Mac control of the match for the first time.  Mac continues to work on Booker’s arm.  Booker tries to fight back, but Mac drives his knees into Booker’s arm.  Mac goes for a kick in the corner but Booker moves, resulting in  Mac getting caught in the corner.  Booker leaps up on the turnbuckle and drives Mac back into the mat with a belly-to-belly suplex.  Booker lays in some strikes but Mac catches him with an enziguri followed by a northern lariat and a punt to the head, but Booker kicks out at two.  Mac goes for another northern lariat, but Booker ducks it.  He is not able to get Mac up because of his arm but is able to roll Mac up for a quick pin for the win.   Mac does not take this loss well as he attacks Booker after the bell.  He goes for a chair, but he is chased off by Ace Romero.  Booker and Ace show each other some respect as Booker has proven that he deserves to be a main eventer in Limitless.
