The Krude Experience - Welcome To My Nightmare

Welcome To My Nightmare

Like a perennial traveling Halloween roadshow, the Alice Cooper train keeps on rolling. Alice, being the musical legend that he is, played his first show in 18 months at the beautiful Ocean Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City, NJ. And your humble and handsome blog host Krüde was there to party, horror show style.

The Ocean casino theater was a standard casino theater. Not huge yet spacious enough. Alice always brings with him a large stage show. The stage at Ocean was more than plenty for the Alice Cooper show. The show itself was great. No opening band so it was all Alice Cooper all night.

Since this was opening night of the current Alice tour, I won’t spoil the setlist for youse with future gig tickets. All I will say is consider the setlist a career spanning affair. Very cool tunes performed all night.

Here is the tune Fallen In Love that I filmed https://youtu.be/hI7J934FNLA

The band was SPOT ON all night. 3 guitars, bass and drums. Since Alice is in his early 70’s now, he has been wise enough to surround himself with some awesome younger musicians. This show is not to be missed.

Before show activities had Krüde and good friend eating at Wahlburgers inside the Ocean casino. We were both first timers to eating a Wahlburger. And those burgers are pretty damn good. I had a Donnie’s favorite burger and some tater tots. Good shit. Plus a full bar in this joint. Can’t go wrong with that.

Alice Cooper is still performing at a high level. With no signs of slowing down. I will be seeing Angel, Cheap Trick and Blue Oyster Cult in the coming weeks. These bands are also in that league of releasing great new music while maintaining a busy touring schedule. Lucky for rock music fans that these shows are being made possible. Mahalo.

Live music is where it is at. Be safe. Have fun. Tip your servers. Cheers!
