Beer Of The Week - Brooklyn Pilsner

Are you in the mood for a fine pilsner beer? You can look no further than a refreshing Brooklyn Pilsner! (Sorry @ludazoodles, Miller Lite didn't make the cut this week.) The Brooklyn Brewery has been brewing some fine beers since 1987, and they are still thriving today with no signs of slowing down. Brooklyn Brewery has a wide variety of different beers on tap and new ones are added all the time, so you can't go wrong with whatever choice you make. I've had a few of them in my travels, so I figured it was time we featured one on the site!

The Brooklyn Pilsner comes in at 5.1% ABV and is a German-Style Pilsner beer. I picked this one up in a create your own six pack since I wanted to give it a try, and I'm glad I did. The flavor is smooth just like any other Pilsner beer that you might be used to drinking, but with some extra flavor that makes it real enjoyable.

"Like its ancestors, Brooklyn Pilsner is traditionally brewed from the finest German two-row barley malts. German-grown Perle and Hallertauer hops provide a crisp, snappy bitterness and fresh, floral aroma. The flavor of the malt comes through in the finish." - brooklynbrewery.com

Brooklyn Pilsner is available year-round and can be found at most liquor stores. Be on the lookout in your beer travels and pick yourself up a Brooklyn Pilsner, the bumwinebob.com beer of the week!

Be sure to tune in LIVE this Sunday at 11pm ET to Bumming with Bobcat where I will be bumming it with Kelli Lox! We will be discussing the world of porn, beer brewing, favorite drink concoctions, and MORE! Grab a drink and join the party! Cheers!
