Steve Austin's Broken Skull IPA has been on my radar ever since it was first released, but for years it was only available in certain regions, so I was unable to get my hands on it. Now if you know me, you know that I'm not a fan of most IPA's, but for Stone Cold Steve Austin and his own personal beer, this was something I had to take the chance on and give a try.
I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised with the IPA not being overly hoppy, which gave it the perfect blend in my option. Coming in at 6.7% ABV. it will give you a good buzz after drinking a few cans, but not throw you over the edge like other higher ABV IPA's.
To help practice safe social distancing, I cracked it open over Facetime with one of the members of the bWb Patreon, Brian, an avid IPA drinker, who also found it enjoyable. He wouldn't rank it at the very top of his IPA list, but it gets an honorable mention.
