Oh Say Can't You See...
History has a very unfunny way of repeating itself. Only cuz
'normal' people conveniently forget what It is that put them
where they currently stand. Is it a lack of mental capacity to absorb importance
throughout our days? Probably. From what Krude sees every day, most
people DO NOT GIVE A SHIT. About anything.They live for now. Live for
themselves. Live to be part of a never fatigued social machine. With a *guaranteed
happy ending to justify their MO. Good for them. Not for me.
I wear my heart on my sleeve. And keep my purpose under
wraps. Like duh...
Remembering back to my days in Elementary school when
showing up in the morning meant putting your right hand over your heart and reciting
the Pledge Of Allegiance. First thing before learning. If you
didn't pledge or were goofing off during this ritual, the penalties were stiff.
After school detention. Scorn from other teachers. Mom and Dad getting a call
from school about this incident. But what were we really doing? It was
obedience schooling for humans. Do as we say. Or else. I hated the
Pledge of Allegiance. So did most other kids. When you are learning about the Boston
Tea Party and whacking the Red Coats cuz they represented Tyranny.
Why the fuck are we acting the same way now? We have our own tyrannical
beasts to deal with. The Authority. Learn to love it. But never question
it.
Strength in numbers. Or is that safety in numbers? Finding a
common ground. Feeling secure. Pursuing happiness.
At what cost do these ideals come with when those who are striving
have no clue about what they are striving for? Just keep the machine rolling.
Put fuel in the tank. And keep on trucking. Do not think. Or depression may
occur.
Eyes never lie. Read them well and poker playing becomes a
profession. Or an albatross. A Bald Eagle albatross. Not for the
innocent...
