To Drink or Not to Drink? - Coors Light Summer Brew

For this weeks edition of "To Drink or Not to Drink?" we are taking a trip to the bumwinebob.com archives and featuring a beverage that is no longer available, but still holds a special place in our hearts. It was on this day in 2014 I posted the picture below while enjoying a can of the limited edition Coors Light Summer Brew

The limited edition release was marketed as a "Refreshing Blend of Coors Light & Natural Citrus Flavors". Available in 12 packs of 10oz cans, they were perfect for summertime day drinking. Being  someone that is usually not a fan of Coors Light, the Summer Brew was a really tasty beverage that I was sad to see go. It was a good blend of beer and citrus as a shandy type beverage long before the hard seltzers of the world took over.

Yes, I know this is a Coors Light can, but Coors Light Summer Brew went great with Kan Jam in summer 2014. A variation of the beer did return in 2015 as the Coors Light Citrus Radler in 12oz cans, but it wasn't the same as the original Summer Brew. It would go on to be discontinued after summer 2015, but earlier this month it was announced that Coors Slice Lime and Coors Slice Orange would be hitting the shelves in Canada, so could we see this hitting the USA soon? Stay tuned!

Verdict: Drink It!
