bWb Eats! Flamin Hot Mac n' Cheese by Cheetos!

It's been a while since we sat down and ate and discussed it. Today, we take on Cheeto's Flamin Hot Mac n' Cheese.

CRITERIA ONE: Taste

I don’t know if it’s the texture of the noodle playing mind games, but the flaming hot flavor feels different. The heat is there, but it’s different. It doesn’t stay on the tongue like a chip or Cheeto. It could be the butter effect. Every time I took a bite, I was expecting that comforting crunch of a potato chip on a drunken Saturday night.

And while the "heat" isn't there like on a chip or a cheeto or a funion or the hundred other items you can find the flamin' brand on, there was still a hint of it.

CRITERIA TWO: Appearance

It’s hard to get past at first. It’s so vibrant in color your mind thinks it’s eating candy. And maybe we are. I'm just worried about the bathroom visit later after i'm consumed a large amount of beer or sampled an edible.

Will my toilet be red - will i have forgotten all about eating this and fear something has gone drastically wrong inside my body.

Again.

CRITERIA THREE: Structure

The noodle changes everything for me. It’s more akin to a ramen dish than Mac n Cheese. I think I may make this again using the standard elbow noodle that most normal people use for their mac n' cheese. I may also try the flamin' dust on ramen itself.

I think I've found my lifes work.

AND Conclusion:

It tastes really good. If you can get past the idea that these noodles are an exotic, toxic treat from Mars, you'll really enjoy this.  The heat can be manipulated with less or more of the milk and butter during prep. Honestly, use one or the either, not both.

Rating: 3.9 out of 5 - would eat again.
