Zach Burton Vs Brett Ryan Gosslin
Both wrestlers are making their Road debuts. Brett Ryan Gosslin attacks Burton before the bell rings,
but Burton has the is much bigger and uses his size advantage to absorb BRS’s attack and comeback with strikes of his own. BRS is very arrogant and uses his speed and underhanded tactics to gain the
advantage and hit a Diamond Dust for a 2 count. Burton fights back but BRG distracts the referee and
hits Burton with a low blow followed by a swinging neck breaker for the win.
Next we see Love Doug in therapy, where his therapist says that he needs to get over Becca as they
were never actually dating in the first place. Doug says that the next person that he sees will get his
love. As he is walking down the hall, he runs into Davienne. We then see Davienne walking through a
park where she sees Love Doug on a bench, and he is apparently not who she expected to see. He gets
her to agree that they will have a match and if he wins, he will get a date with her.
Love Doug Vs Davienne
Davienne is very disgusted by Love Doug and is able to use her power and size advantage to dominate in the early going. She hits some very hard chops on the outside and then throws him into the ringpost.
Once they are in the ring Doug is able to get the upper hand by throwing some roses in her face. He
then gets very upset whenever Davienne rips up the heart shaped love letter that he gave her and starts
attacking her with some ferocity that we have rarely seen from him. Davienne however is able to hit a
massive German Supplex and air raid crash for a near fall. Doug makes a slight comeback and hits the
Love Story, a Falcon Arrow variation. Davienne hits a neckbreaker from the second rope and a running
low dropkick into the ringpost for the win. I really liked this match. With the scene before the match it
told an entertaining story. Love Doug is great in the role that he plays and Davienne counteracted it by
wanting nothing to do with him and showing her power and dominance.
After the match Davienne is interviewed and says that she should be a top contender for the vacant
championship. Christian Casanova then comes out and says that even though he respects her that spot
is his. They then agree to a match, which I am looking forward to.
Apostles of Chaos (Logan Black and Chris Benne) vs Andrew Palace and Shawn Phoenix
This is probably the match that I was most looking forward to on this card as Palace and Phoenix have
been standouts in the Pittsburgh area for years and I have been enjoying AOC in Synergy.
AOC gets a quick start and jumps both Palace and Phoenix to begin the match, but once they have a
miscommunication on the outside Palace and Phoenix both hit suicide dives onto them. This is followed
up by some very quick offense and double team moves by Palace and Phoenix. This is the first time that
I have seen them team together and they are working together as a team very well. AOC is able to gain
the advantage by some underhanded tactics and are able to use the size advantage and tag team
experience to isolate Phoenix. Once Phoenix is finally able to break free and make the tag Palace comes
in with his typical high energy attack taking out both members of AOC. It then begins to speed up with
both teams hitting some high impact moves. The size, strength and tag team experience of AOC just
ends up being too much as they are able catch Phoenix with a double burning hammer for the win.
I really hope to see all 4 of these wrestlers back on Limitless. Apostles of Chaos are a big powerful tag
team that can have great matches with anyone. Palace and Phoenix looked great as a team, but both
are terrific singles competitors in their own right.
Tyree Taylor vs Alex Prize
Prize starts by trash talking Taylor, which does not seem very smart as Taylor has a significant size
advantage which he uses to dominate Prize in the early going. He also shows some very impressive
agility for someone his size. Taylor shows his strength by pressing Prize above his heard and Kobe
tossing him back into the ring. Prize is able to catch Taylor coming back in the ring though and take
advantage. After multiple near falls for Prize he makes a mistake by slapping Taylor, which just angers
him. Taylor has a flurry of offense including a corner splash, enzuigiri, face wash and ending with a giant uranage. After all of this and a huge discuss lariat by Taylor, Prize is able to comeback and hit a head scissor into the post. This is followed up by a Surprise Kick to the back of the head for the win.
I have really enjoyed all of Alex Prize’s matches that I have seen in Limitless. He comes off as a jerk but has some innovative offense and always seems to have great matches. This is the first time I have seen Tyree Taylor and would like to see more of him, he is very entertaining and has a mixture of power and athleticism.
