We have our first match in the semifinals, and it is Gnekai vs Skid. Gnekai defeated Logan Easton Laroux in the first round and states that he wants to prove that he is the best wrestler in the scene today. Skid, who also goes by The Red Assassin Skid McGraw, defeated KTB in the first round and says that he is bigger and stronger than everyone else in the tournament.
We begin the match with Skid using his size and power advantage while Gnekai tries to use his speed and agility to avoid and counter strike Skid. The first big move in the match is a massive spinning sidewalk slam by Skid where he spins Gnekai 3 times around before crashing him to the match. Once he hits this move, Brickster says that he knows who Skid is as he has seen that move before. Gnekai is able to come back with a leaping enziguri and counter a chokeslam attempt into a rana and a 619. He then puts Skid into an Octopus, which turns into a submission on the ground. Gnekai unloads strikes while his opponent is still in the submission and Skid is forced to submit.
We go to the judges to see if they know who Skid is and this one does not take very long as Brickster is the first to guess and he is sure that it is his Rip City Shooter brother Josh Bishop.
So we now know that the first participant in the finals will be Gnekai and next week we will find out if his opponent will be Wyldkat or Stokely Hathaway JR
