Indie Wrestling Wire: Limitless Wrestling presents The Road Ep 4 recap.

By Don Halliwell

Hermit Crab, Shawn Phoenix, Chris Benne and Bobby Orlando (with Bobby JR) in a 4 way match for the Blitzkrieg Pro Bedlam Championship

Orlando starts the match by talking trash on everyone and then proceeds to get taken out by all 3 of his opponents.  Once he gets back in the ring Orlando is able to gain control by slamming Phoenix and Hermit Crab, but is not able to get the larger Benne up.  Benne then proceeds to take out Orlando and drops him onto Hermit Crab.  It then begins to really pick up and Phoenix gets control with a no hands rana.  Benne hits a Bubba Bomb on Phoenix but Hermit Crab is able to hit  a suplex on both  Benne and Phoenix.  We get dives to the outside from Phoenix and Hermit Crab.  Bobby Orlando tries to throw Bobby Jr onto his opponents, but he is caught by Benne.  Orlando then tries to dive onto his opponents on the outside, but there is nobody there.  Hermit Crab grabs a chair and uses it on Benne.

Orlando tries to dive onto Benne while he is on the chair, but Benne moves and Orlando crashes into the chair.  Hermit Crab attempts the Crab Walk but is caught by Phoenix and he hits a Spanish Fly with them both landing on Benne.  Orlando then quickly runs in and pins Benne for the win and retains his championship.  This was a really fun match, and everyone got to show what they have.  Benne showed off his power, Phoenix had some great athletic moves, Hermit Crab showed off his saltiness and Orlando missed just about every move and still came away with his championship.

Danger Kid vs Jessie Nolan

This is Nolan’s first ever match and she is facing the man who trained her.  We start out with some chain wresting and then Nolan is able to take advantage with a side suplex, and rana and then a cannonball in the corner.  DK comes back and hits a senton for a near fall then a very stiff kick to the back for another near fall.  After hitting her with some very hard chops and kicks DK says that he told her that he was not going to take it easy on her.  Nolan is showing a lot of fight as she keeps fighting back and kicking out of everything that DK throws at her. She is able to get some offense going and hits an Eat Da Feet and a scissor kick and is able to get a 2 count.  However, DK is just too much for her as he hits a backstabber in the corner followed by a Swanton Bomb for the win.  This was a really good debut for Jessie Nolan as it showed off her toughness against her trainer.  I know that Danger Kid is in one of the top tag teams, but his singles matches have been amazing and I would love to see move.

Perry Von Vicious comes to the ring for an interview, but then the American Beatle comes out.  Once someone is able to interpret for Beatle, as he only speaks Spanish, we  have a match for the Kaiju Big Battle Grand Championship.

American Beatle starts out hot hitting multiple American European Uppercuts and an American German Suplex.  PVV is able to gain the advantage as he rolls through a dive from the top from Beatle and throws him to the outside.  While on the outside PVV slams Beatle into the ring post, the floor and then finally into the refrigerator.  He then proceeds to slam the refrigerator door into American Beatle.  As they head back toward the ring PVV grabs a chair and a door and puts them in the ring, but Beatle is able to hit him with a Washington Wizard for a 2 count.  Beatle hits a cannon ball off the chair, then hits a running dropkick with the chair onto PVV,  but PVV is able to turn the tide and put Beatle through the door in the corner.  With American Beatle laid out in the corner, out comes Dr. Cube and his minions.

His group jumps American Beatle.  PVV is able to chase them off with a chair, but not before Dr. Cube escapes with the belt.  This was a good match and a fun way to get the Kaiju universe involved in Limitless.

Rip Byson vs Zachary Pierre Beaulieu

I do like ZPB, as he is always drinking wine, but Rip is a top star in Limitless and is going to be very tough to beat.  This match quickly becomes a brawl on the floor.  ZPB slams Rip into the turnpost and then onto the floor.  Rip then counters with a hip toss onto the floor followed by 2 Cactus Elbows from the apron.  Once they get back in the ring ZPB tosses Rip from the 2nd rope to the other side of the ring, showing off some of those wine muscles.  We then get a really nice stungun from a fireman’s carry position from Rip.  ZPB is able to get a near fall with a spinebuster.  Once ZPB is on the outside Rip hits a huge dive over the top rope onto him.  Back in the ring Rip hits a big Lariat and drops ZPB on his head for the win.  This was another one of those to quality hard hitting matches that Rip Byson seems to keep putting on.  He appears to be a top contender when the title tournament starts in December.
