TJ Crawford Vs Zachary Pierre Beaulieu

Before the match starts TJ calls for a breathalyzer for ZPB.  The referee administers it and ZPB somehow passes.  He then takes a chug from his bottle of wine and they lock up.  TJ gets the early advantage of the exchanges and hits a big dropkick forcing ZPB to the floor.  ZPB chugs some wine on the outside but TJ hits him with a dive.  He brings ZPB back in the ring and hits a dropkick from the top for a near fall.  TJ tries to go back to the top but ZPB stops him and goes after his injured shoulder.  ZPB continues to work on TJ’s arm, then hits a full nelson bomb followed by a kick to the shoulder.  He throws TJ into the corner, but TJ counters with a backstabber, however, TJ is not able to get everything on it due to his bad shoulder.  ZPB takes over control again and shoves TJ’s shoulder into the ringpost.  He then kicks TJ’s shoulder into the post.  TJ is able to stop ZPB’s momentum with a spin kick to the head.  TJ follows this up with strikes to ZPB but appears to be hurting his own arm at the same time.  TJ hits a big knee to ZPB in the corner but is not able to pick him up and ZPB tosses TJ over his head for a near fall.  ZPB hits a sit-down spine buster but TJ is able to kick out.  TH then picks ZPB up on his shoulders and drives him into the mat with a spinning tiger driver for the pin.  I really like ZPB, mostly because of the wine drinking, but he also seems to have good matches.  TJ’s debut showed what he is capable of and hopefully we see more of him in Limitless.

Nick Stapp v Leary

They start the fight in the locker room area.  Stapp gets Leary seated on a chair and hits a knee onto him.   They head into another room and Leary throws a chair at Stapp’s head, then hits him with a drop toe hold onto the chair.  Leary shoves Stapp’s head into a shopping cart but Nick grabs something in it and hits Leary with it.  They go outside and start fighting inside a U-Haul.  Nick slams Leary’s head on each side of the truck while they are in it.  They exit the truck and Leary throws Stapp into the side of the building.  He then hits Stapp with a piece of wood into the gut and throws him into a dumpster.  This is not the type of dumpster love that BBYGRL is used to.   They make their way back into the ring and Stapp gets thrown into a ladder and up the stairs to the ringside area.  Leary grabs some hand sanitizer and pours it down Stapp’s throat.  Leary turns his back to showboat as Stapp is on the apron, which is a mistake, as Stapp hits him with a dive off the apron.  He then throws Leary in the ring and hits a dropkick off the top.  Stapp tries to climb the ropes again, but Leary grabs his legs and hits a swinging neck breaker for a near fall.    Leary brings some chairs in the ring and chokes Stapp with a chair in the corner.  He then sets up a door on 2 chairs in the middle of the ring.  Stapp tries to fight back but gets hit with a low blow and a running knee to the head.  Leary sets up a chair next to Stapp’s head, but Nick throws it at him.  Stapp hits a Death Valley driver through the door for the win.  This was a crazy match that started in the back, went outside and finally ended with Leary going through a door in the middle of the ring.  Nick Stapp is finally able to get some revenge on The Hive, who have been attacking him for weeks.

The Competition (Champ Matthews and Conner Murphy)  vs Apostles of Chaos (Logan Black and Chris Benne)

Black and Mathews start the match.  Mathews is able to bring Black down but starts showing off and gets hit with a forearm to the face followed by a shoulder tackle and another strike to the face.  Matthews then tags Murphy and Black tags Benne.   Murphy starts trash talking and gets hit with some chops and thrown across the ring by Benne.   Black gets the tag and AOC hit a tandem buckle bomb.  Black then hits an overhead suplex for near fall.  The Competition isolates Black and double team him. They make some questionable tags and are able to keep Black grounded and in their corner.  Murphy hits Black with a superkick for a near fall then tags in Matthews, who goes for a moonsault, but Black gets his knees up.  Black appears to be recovering but, Murphy drags him out of the ring, throws him into the post, and tosses him back in the ring, where Mathews hits the moonsault.  He goes for the pin, but Benne breaks it up.  Both members of The Competition come off the top onto Black, but he moves, and they crash into each other.  Black makes the tag to Benne, who takes Murphy out with a power slam and Mathews with a suplex.  He then hits a double chokeslam on both members of The Competition.  AOC are now the ones making quick tags and hitting double team moves.  The Competition goes for Corner Chaos, but Benne picks them both up and slams them.  He covers them both, but only gets 2 count.  Black comes in and hits a big European uppercut on Murphy, but The Competition hit Corner Chaos on him and Mathews pins Black while Murphy takes out Benne on the outside.  In my opinion this is an upset win for The Competition and maybe AOC had their eyes on the Maine State Posse and was looking past them.  The Competition now have a claim that they deserve to be in the conversation as one of the top tag teams in Limitless.

Travis Huckabee vs Davienne

Huckabee is joined by Leary and Hermit Crab at ringside.  Travis hits a quick dropkick to start the match, but Davienne comes back with a forearm to the back and a suplex.  Travis goes after the arm of Davienne and takes control.  He sends her to the floor, and she is attacked by Hermit Crab and Leary.  She is thrown back in the ring and Travis stomps her arm into the mat.  Travis continues to work on her arm.  Davienne fires back but Travis pulls back her arm and throws her to the outside where Hermit Crab stomps on her.  Once she is back in the ring, Travis drops some knees to her arm.  Davienne is finally able to get in some offense and hits some clotheslines with her good arm, but Travis hits with a headbutt and goes back on the attack.  Davienne gets Travis up and hits a Kryptonite Crunch for a near fall, but then Travis goes back to working on her arm. Travis is really showing off his technical wrestling skills and may be one of the best at picking a body part and working on it.  He tries to finish Davienne off by going for the stretch muffler but Davienne kicks him away.  She rolls to the outside but is met by The Hive.  She proceeds to take out both Leary and Hermit Crab, then drops Travis spine first on the apron.  She sets Travis up in the corner and hits a sliding drop kick into the post, the Daviend Your Life, for the win.  We end the show with the 3 members of The Hive walking out dejected in defeat.

This was another great show for Limitless, but not so great for The Hive.  Leary and Travis Huckabee had good matches, but Nick Stapp just had too much fight in him and Davienne is one of the top stars in Limitless.  She is making a claim for a shot at the title that Christian Casanova is currently holding.  Limitless is quietly giving us some of the best wrestling on a weekly basis of any promotion and has a diverse roster that I feel great rooting for or against.
