Having the goal of presenting wrestling with a different and unique take not only in their area, but in the wrestling world as a whole, Pro Wrestling Magic (PWM) launched in 2015 in New Jersey.  Running in mainly Ridgefield Park for the last few years, PWM has a great core roster of athletes and many of the big stars of today have performed on their events.  A focus on solid stories, solid talent and the occasional bonkers match-up have been key ingredients to the success of the company.  On Saturday May 29th, they join the IWTV family with their last show which was taped on May 8th, "That 90's Party" premiering at 7 PM Eastern/6 PM Central.  To get caught up to speed with the current goings-on in PWM, the full replays of the two "Red Letter Day" shows from April 2021 will presented for free starting at 8 PM Eastern/7 PM Central on the GO Pro Wrestling Twitch channel on Friday May 28th.  I'll also try to help with that up to speed part by sharing a bit about the past, present and future of PWM.

PWM has seen many different athletes on the rise pass through its gates.  Ace Romero, Ace Austin, Madman Fulton, Donovoan Dijak (WWE's T-BAR), Erik & Ivar of the Viking Raiders, Keith Lee, Cody Rhodes, Private Party, and Sonny Kiss are just a handful of current stars who have made magic there.

The "Magic Kingdom" of PWM has many different treasures: five different championships. The current title holders are as follows:

-Pro Wrestling Magic Champion: Erica Leigh

Past champions include: JT Dunn, EC Negro, Dan Maff, and Pinkie Sanchez

-PWM Dark Arts Champion: Darius Carter

The Dark Arts title matches have their own ruleset, which has evolved over the years, with no countouts, closed fists legal and only 1 rope break allowed being the most consistently used set. The latest modification to these rules was added by the current champion and bouts now use the British rounds system.

Past champions include: Everett Cross, Eddie McQueen and Lou Bruno

-PWM Junior Heavyweight Champion: Saieve Al Sabah

Past champions include: Sebastian Cage

-PWM Women's Champion: Jordan Blade

Past champions include: Terra Callaway, Faye Jackson, Sonya Strong, Rachael Ellering and Jordynne Grace

-PWM Tag Team Champions: Adam Payne & Wrecking Ball Legursky

Past champions include: Private Party, Amazing Graysons, Jersey Muscle Society, American Murder Society and the Psycho Drivers

The announced matches for the May 29th IWTV debut "That 90's Party":

1) PWM Champion Erica Leigh defends against Big Dan Champion, her handpicked challenger

2) Women's 3-Way: Abby Jane v. Ziggy Haim v. Little Mean Kathleen

3) Masha Slamovich v Bonesaw Jessie Brooks

4) PWM Championship #1 Contender 4-Way: Everett Cross v. Sebastian Cage v. JGeorge v. Killian McMurphy

5) PWM Tag Champions Adam Payne and Wrecking Ball Legursky will defend the titles against ???

The future is looking awfully good for the "Magic Kingdom" as well: monthly content on IWTV with live streams starting in September, tapings for the July and August IWTV events coming up on June 12th (grab tickets here) and some of the favorites of many visiting the PWM ring including Allie Katch, EFFY, Tony Deppen and Daniel Garcia.  PWM also hopes to have their entire event catalog uploaded to IWTV by year's end.  This is great news for folks wanting to watch some of the matches they've heard of but never seen like Lio Rush & Paul London versus Private Party or Keith Lee versus Cody Rhodes, for example.

If your looking to add a bit of magic to your wrestling consumption, now is a perfect time to add PWM to you rotation!
