After releasing the 2023 Four Loko Pregame Power Rankings this past week, we are getting closer and closer to the final core Four Loko Power Rankings that will be coming your way before the end of the year! Before we can get to those rankings, we still have a few flavors of the classic Four Loko cans to crack open and cover! Poolside LOKO season is in the rearview mirror, but Four Loko Fall continues as we take another trip on the LOKO train with Four Loko Watermelon as the BumWineBob.com malt beverage of the week!
Four Loko Watermelon is another OG flavor that everyone remembers from the original Four Loko lineup. While we are far removed from the original caffeinated version, watermelon was one of the only original Four Loko flavors that I remember having in my college days before the switch. Since then I have only had the watermelon flavor on a few occasions, so it's time to finally crack one open and give it a try again in 2023!
As soon as you crack it open you get that strong watermelon smell, but the first sip isn't as strong as you think it would be. It's rides that line between just enough watermelon and not enough. I don't want to say it reminds me of a hard seltzer, because it absolutely does not, but it doesn't have as strong of a flavor as most other varieties of Four Loko. Coming in at 12% ALC/VOL it will always gets the job done, but it does feel like it is lacking in some areas.
