Set in a dystopian future America, the film follows a group of young men that “voluntarily” join a deadly annual contest known as "The Long Walk" in which participants must maintain a speed of 3 miles per hour on foot or die and there is only one left standing. The losers are shot dead, the winner receives unimaginable fortune and one wish granted by the government.
