Beer Of The Week - Rolling Rock - 6/19/15

Getting yourself ready for the weekend? What better way to get yourself ready for the start of summer and kicking off your Father's Day weekend than by enjoying a bucket of rocks! As a special Beer Of The Week and Flashback Friday combination post, we present to you the BWB Beer Of The Week: Rolling Rock!

Rolling Rock has been around since 1939, but I feel that it's time we help bring it back to the mainsteam and give it the respect it deserves. While many people are still unhappy about the sale of Rolling Rock to Anheuser-Busch in 2006, that is no reason to hold any ill will towards this fine beer. A bucket of rocks can still go a long way in 2015, and you can still pick up some of the 7oz pony bottles to take on the road with you!

The Port Hole Cafe in Ship Bottom, New Jersey!
I remember watching my parents enjoying some fine Rolling Rock beers during one of our many summer vacations to Long Beach Island, New Jersey in the 90's. While I was not of legal drinking age at the time, I knew that this was a beer that could be enjoyed by all! A bucket of rocks for everyone!

Rolling Rock and Kan Jam enjoyed in 2015!
"Rolling Rock - From the glass lined tanks of Old Latrobe, we tender this premium beer for your enjoyment as a tribute to your good taste. It comes from the mountain springs to you."

Now in 25oz cans!
Be sure to tune in this Sunday at 11PM ET for the BWB Summer Shenanigans Podcast as we celebrate Father's Day and the beginning of the summer of 2015! Cheers!
