We all know Pabst Blue Ribbon as a classic beer, but the new PBR hard coffee craze has been taking the world by storm after it was announced and released in certain test markets a few weeks ago. I was lucky enough to find and pick up a 4 pack as a special birthday gift to myself to give it a shot!
The reviews have been overwhelmingly positive so far, so this was one was a no-brainer. It's technically a malt beverage and not a beer, since it really is a hard coffee and not a coffee flavored beer. Coming in at 5% ABV. you can drink it straight out of the can or pour it in a glass over ice and you will not be disappointed. If you like to start your day with a cup of coffee, this is the perfect substitute!
