Trevor Murdoch and Zicky Dice are out ..Murdoch announces that he's officially signed an NWA contract. Dic interrupts his announcement and is talking about some stripper named Dusty. Shots fired at AEW. POPE in DA HOUSE. Fines dig it, oh they dig it. Pope and his congregation have a moment.
Pope says the NWA has created change on the wrestling landscape. And when you talk about change, you gotta talk about the trendsetters and lists a bevy of NWA greats,brings up the four horseman. Say's he's just looking for his team.
Ricky Starks v. Eddie Kingston - TV Title Tourny match.
Match will only last for 6:05 or less, so that's a daunting task for both wrestlers. If the time limit is reached, both men are eliminated. So we should expect a high energy match. In a somewhat shocker from this side of the computer, Starks pulled the match out. Was a fun, quick paced match with Kingston dominating most of the match.

Royce Isaacs comes out with some dame, a looker with some tattoo's. I don't mind this May Valentine is her name. Never heard of her. Isaacs whispers something in Dave Marquez's ear. Marquez's is flabbergasted at whatever Isaacs said. Isaacs get's serious for a second and says he wants to show his new gf what he can do. James Storm comes out. This doesn't look good for Isaacs. Says he's got his beer on ice, said he's gonna kick Isaac's ass, then he's gonna tip that ass, pointing to May.

Stu Bennett is so good on mic. I feel stupid for ever questioning the move, when it was announced. He just brings a professionalism and an underlining of humor that is perfect. May gives Royce some good luck kisses. I think he's going to need more than that. Joe Galli is sickened by the love fest, screaming at Isaacs. Isaacs is now saying he can't wrestle, that his shoulder is hurt. Storm says fuck that noise. Comes out to beat the shit out of him anyways. After getting the shit kicked out of him, Isaacs such PEACE OUT. Gets a very animated count out loss. Storm fun.
Eli Drake is out for a promo Drinking a little bit o' the bubbly. Drake is possibly high on cocaine. Man, he's on fire. Breaking fourth walls, tell's Marquez when he comes out, no comedy. Starts singing. Bottle of Bubbly may not be a gimmick. Says he has new goals, but he don't make resolutions. "New Year,New Goals". Goal sounds like gold. Now we jump into Jocephus singing a Christmas carol. WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON. Do i have a fever?
Now Aldis and his group are out. And he's handing out gifts. Some team Aldis coats. Marquez he said he has a question for Kamille - and the boys start laughing, because they had a bet to see how long it'd take for Marquez to ask about Kamille. Asked about Ricky Morton. Aldis says the only reason anyone is here, is because of Aldis. Calls the Express out. Don't like this. They tag champs aren't intimidated. Aldis is a bit angered about Morton's comments from last week. Want's him to clarify his comments.
Morton says, so, you want to know if I meant what i said. "I was asked my opinion, so i gave my opinion,". "You spent two years building this business, we've spent OUR LIFE building this,". Does say he apologizes if he said something to upset him, offered his hand, they shake. Aldis warns him not to cross him.

Women's six-man tag match.
Allysin Kay, ODB, Ashley Vox v. Thunder Rosa, Melina, Marti Belle.
The person that makes the pin get's a match against anyone they choose. Kind of a convuluted angle, but, let's go with it. I have a hard time watching these women matches when Allysin is involved. Being that we're best friends, I have a hard time being well balanced in my reporting. Thunder Rosa though, she's the real fucking deal. She just chopped Vox so hard I have a welt on my chest. At one point, Vox had Thunder Rosa near tapping out, but Rosa just bit Vox's hand. Thunder wins the match. Melina picks for her. Thunder seems a bit annoyed.
Picking the next names for the TV Title tournament. Tim Storm is pulled out. Nick Aldis next. So it's Tim Storm v. Nick Aldis next week. Storm says he's going to get serious. Momma Storm turned 95 this week. Got to spend time with her over the holidays. Worked till she was in her 70's. She asked him how long are you going to do this wrestling. He doesn't know, but he's going to go on for as long as he can. His Dad took all the money and split. Yikes. Great emotionally charged speech. NWA does promos so damn good.
The Question Mark v. Colt Cabana TV Title qualifying match.
Man is ? over! I envision Vince McMahon hearing about this and signing him, sight unseen. Wouldn't you love to be in the room when Vince meet's Question Mark for the first time? All jokes aside, while i love the Question Mark gimmick, I can't get behind him ever being anything more than a glorified jobber. So picking up a win over a two-time North American champion doesn't sit well with me here. Regardless, he moves on to the next round.
