Is WGN America looking to get into the wrestling business?
Now, we here at bWb wrestling don't really search out "sources" and try to "break" stories. We're more of a watch and review kind of page - but I just spoke with someone that had a very interesting bit of news.
WGN America, owned by Nexstar Media Group - has made overtures to several companies about bringing pro wrestling to the airwaves.
One of those groups is the NWA - impressed with the production and the reaction of the show, WGN is looking into a partnership with the William Corgan owned promotion.
Take this as you will. Rumors are rumors until their either debunked or come to fruition. It certainly is something to look into.
