New's has trickled in regarding the Beyond Wrestling network pilot that was ordered by a network whose name has not been released as of yet.

The news, however, seems to be that of confusion. Yesterday, Beyond released information regarding the first ever General Manager role in Beyond.

The creation of the GM role comes from a request by the projects financial investors.

"I think it's a curious addition to the event," says Cordeiro. "I've been the sole producer of Beyond Wrestling for more than a decade, so I'm intrigued to see what Beyond Wrestling looks like through someone else's eyes, especially if they have television experience.

Cordeiro clearly welcomes the idea of the GM role, eliminating some of the work load that he's had to take on behind the scenes.

"I have to wear many hats day-of-show, so I'm not going to complain about having an extra hand help ensure things run smoothly," Cordeiro said.

But the big news, coming out today via IWTV, is that Beyond will introduce their first ever champion on the network pilot. In a press release from IWTV:

"Beyond Wrestling has been a huge part of the growth and success of IWTV," said IWTV official Gerard Durling. "For so long there has been resistance to Beyond having their own championship and I'm glad to see those days are behind us."

Interestingly, Cordeiro asked @Indiewrestling to remove the post, stating that he wasn't sure why the post on IWTV happened and asked for it to be removed.

However, at 6:53 pm, Beyond posted that it is real. So a very interesting set of events transpiring.

So what we know:

Network pilot taping March 1st in Melrose, Massachusetts:
