So, this week’s show was the Go-Home show for Revolution. I enjoyed it. The build going into the PPV is awesome and has me excited for Saturday. Even though some stories have been building since Full Gear, it’s been done at the right pace.

The opening match is PAC vs Kenny Omega in a 30-minute iron man match. Interesting that the Young Bucks were out there in support of Kenny instead of his tag team partner Page.
First of all, let me say the skills of both wrestlers are outstanding. The first 30 minutes flew by and it was a tie 1-1 so they went into sudden death with Kenny picking up the win. By far the best match of the night and had a PPV quality level to it. Excellence.

Tony interviews PAC about him losing to Omega when Orange Cassidy comes out and interrupts his interview. PAC knocks him down and that’s that…for now.

The next match is a 6-man tag match. Santana & Ortiz and Sammy Guevara vs Jurassic Express. Excellent match as expected. All six wrestlers are super talented, and the match flowed pretty well.
Darby Allin showed up out of nowhere and distracted Sammy giving Jurassic Express the win. Great push on Darby vs Sammy’s upcoming match.

Of course, we see an excellent MJF and Cody video promoting their long-awaited match at the PPV.

Moving along we get Best Friends with Orange Cassidy vs The Butcher and The Blade with The Bunny. Solid tag match with Best friends getting the victory here. I got a good laugh when Bunny stole Orange Cassidy’s sunglasses and he stole her Bunny ears.

After the match we find out we will get PAC vs Orange Cassidy at Revolution. (Orange Cassidy’s first match in AEW) excited to see it.

Up next is Yuka Sakazaki vs Big Swole vs Shanna vs Hikaru Shida. Good match. I honestly think all four women did a great job. Shida ended up getting the well-deserved win. I actually thought Big Swole was going to win and honestly wouldn’t mind seeing her get a title shot in the near future.

Dark Order mentions OBSOLETE…Matt Hardy?

JR sits down to interview The Young Bucks, Kenny Omega, and Hangman Adam Page to discuss their upcoming match this Saturday for the AEW Tag Team Championships. Page seems aggravated the whole time, then the Young Bucks say he was just a jobber in ROH. I was shocked they even said that but I’m even more excited for this match now and the breakdown of The Elite.

Moxley and Jericho’s weigh in is up next. It might be an unpopular opinion, but I personally am not a fan of the weigh in. Although I will say it went better than most contract signings I’ve seen more recently. Moxley comes out first, then Inner Circle comes out all together to support Le Champion.
Moxley weighs in and Jericho takes his time, a lot of time, and never made it on the scale anyway. Inner Circle attacks Moxley, Dustin comes out going after Jake Hager, then Darby comes down, but Sammy gets the upper hand this time stealing his skateboard and hitting him with it. Moxley and Jericho go at it as well and he lays out Moxley making The Inner Circle look very strong and united going into Revolution.

Overall this was a great Go-Home show done correctly. So many great matches coming up on Saturday, I can’t wait. Not much more to say until Revolution!
