Going into this week’s Dynamite I was wondering who Hangman’s partner would be. Would Lance Archer show up? Also, will the Exalted One be revealed finally. (I want Matt Hardy)

The opening match was Ortiz w/Santana ringside vs Cody w/Arn and Brandi ringside.
Good match to set the tone for Blood and Guts coming up on March 25th, hopefully. During this match we see Jake Roberts come through the crowd with Lance Archer, his client. Great match, and Cody wins via submission. Of course, after the match Santana hits Cody then Kenny and Matt Jackson run down to help.
We then see Jericho on the screen backstage, and he shows Nick Jackson under a garage door bleeding. The Elite (minus Page) run to the back to help him. They end up going to the hospital with him.

The second match of the night was Kris Statlander and Hikaru Shida vs Bea Priestley and AEW Women’s Champion Nyla Rose. Another good match from the women. Bea and Nyla worked surprisingly well together and picked up the win. After the match Bea hit Nyla and held up the belt.
Shida came out of this match looking like a very strong future competitor. I’d love to see her, and Kris Statlander go for the belt in the future. I think the women’s division is looking strong.

Christopher Daniels cuts a weird promo on The Dark Order. I still think he is somehow involved in Dark Order. Next week The Exalted One will be revealed.

3rd match was The Butcher, The Blade and MJF vs Jurassic Express. Great match because anytime Jurassic Express wrestle, it’s great. Marko Stunt is growing on me and I really wanted to see him pin MJF, but MJF made Marko tap. So that means MJF is still undefeated. Another accolade to brag about.

We see a video of Darby Allin dragging a body bag with a dummy inside, looking like Sammy. Fantastic level of creepy that Darby perfects.

Tony interviews Dr. Britt Baker and her heel promos just get better every single week. She insulted the hell out of the Salt Lake City crowd, and it was hilarious. Big Swole came out and they both insult each other using their husband/boyfriend BAY BAY. Then Britt throws the coffee on Swole and I cannot wait to see this match happen.

The next match was my favorite of the night. Joey Janela and Private Party vs Death Triangle which is PAC and Lucha Bros. All six are so talented and the action didn’t stop. Death Triangle picked up the win. I really hope if Blood and Guts is still on for the 25th in Newark NJ that Joey Janela has another great match in his home state. I really like him.

We then see a couple of #SearchforSpears audition tapes. Honestly, I hope whatever they are doing here gets us more Shawn Spears on Dynamite.

Next, JR interviews AEW World Champion Jon Moxley who is still injured from taking a powerbomb off the stage by The Inner Circle. I’m honestly glad he’s champion, it fits him. He’s very vague about his role at Blood and Guts, but I’m sure whatever he does it will be awesome.
Now for the main event. Chris Jericho and Sammy Guevara vs. Hangman Adam Page and his mystery partner Dustin Rhodes. I was honestly a little underwhelmed and Page seemed a little concerned, but the match flowed well. Jericho even mocked Page by taking a fans beer and drinking it, but Page hits Jericho and takes the beer and drinks it himself. Page and Dustin get the win despite Inner Circle being ringside. Page is so over, and the crowd absolutely loves him, me included.
After the match, Inner Circle attack Dustin and Hangman. Then Kenny and Cody head down to help. Inner circle ends up laying everyone out and just as they are about to powerbomb Hangman off the stage, Matt comes out and saves him. Then gives him the finger. Jericho hits Matt with a chair and the Inner Circle look strong going into Blood and Guts.

Next weeks episode I’m sure will keep the build for the March 25th show in NJ but at this very moment we aren’t sure what will happen. It would be a bummer if the show gets cancelled because I have decent seats but everyone’s health and safety comes first! See you all for next week’s review!
