NWAPowerrr - Episode 20

I hate that I feel this way about the show, but for me, NWAPowerrr has really lost it's steam. Now, before I go any further, I must iterate that I'm not saying the talent isn't putting the work in - they are. Tim Storm is one of the best baby faces in the business, while Nick Aldis has put prestige to a belt that was all but dead just years ago.

It's that the show feels like a retread week to week. The matches are never longer than ten minutes, most way under. The lack of talent depth leaves each show feeling like we'd watch it a week before.

And the set ... while at first an awesome novelty that beckoned to days of yesterday; is now just a novelty that serves no purpose but banter with the crowd.

I don't want to be one of those fans that shit on something they once loved because that's the cool thing to do. In all realities, this feeling is mine and mine alone. Maybe i'm just burnt out on wrestling and need to pull back a little bit for a while.

The big news, action wise, surrounded the TV title - with Zicky Dice defeatin Ricky Starks, in some what of a shocker. Dice's popularity has surged in recent weeks, so it's probably not that big of a shocker.

The Dawsons lost their match - and have lost their contracts with NWA. And the team of Eli Drake and James Storm defeated The Bouncers.

Crockett Cup 2020 tickets go on presale from 3/9 to 4/9 on fite tv. You can grab them at bWbppv.com

Aldis cut a passionate promo that basically stated that the NWA is going to show us all how good they really are.
