Pro's & Con's of Monday Night Raw - 5/25/20
Pro - "Fans" in attendance.
I like that they added the NXT wrestlers for the ambiance of the show. Some will tear them apart, claiming they stole the idea from AEW.
Big fucking deal. It made the show better.
Con - Charlotte Flair & Nia Jax
"I didn't even invite her," Kevin Owens says to Asuka, as Charlotte Flair's music hits the speakers. Over exposed Charlotte Flair added to Nia Jax on my tv made me flip the channel.
"Don't hit Nia in the face," ... it's like Kevin Owens is my inner dialogue.
Pro - History Made
Apollo Crews grabbing his first title in WWE in a very entertaining match with Andrade.
Con - The pain in my ears.
The IIconics ... Why are they still a thing? I thought they were being repackaged? In no way are they entertaining.
Pro - Silver linings
Alexa & Nikki. Cross' with her impassioned promo saved that whole fucking segment. I really love this team - which will make it that much better once they break them apart. Hopefully not soon though.
Middling - Eh, it is what it is.
I neither loved nor hated the interaction between Drew McIntyre & MVP; though i'm not chomping at the bit to see Drew wrestle Bobby Lashley.
Pro - Give me three hours of The Kevin Owens Show
It's always nice to see Owens in action; Garza with a surprising victory over the veteran, albeit with the aid of a bad knee on Owens part.
Con - Comedy for the sake of comedy isn't funny.
Street Profits/Viking Raiders. Nuff' said. I can't stand what they've done to the Raiders, who should be absolute killing machines instead of fucking jokes.
Pro - She hot.
Not sure where they are going with the Liv Morgan character, but it seems a bit different from everything else they are doing with the Women's division. So, for that alone, pro.
Con - Nia Jax, again.
Nia Jax earning the title shot at Asuka at Backlash. Let's be honest, I wasn't going to be happy with any of the three in this match winning (Jax, Flair, Natalya). So here we are.
Con - See earlier about comedy.
Rob Gronkowski. Get this fucking moron off my tv, would ya? Talk about douche chill television. Just kill off the 24/7 title.
