Degeneration-F, Jimmy Lloyd's love letter to The Collective came out swinging. Running about 2 hours and 25 minutes, the card featured eight matches that were paced perfectly and showcased a wide variety of talent.
For me, the match of the show was Blake Christian defeating 17-year old Starboy Charlie. Now, I wasn't really familiar with Charlie going into this match, but the dude can straight up fucking fly man. There were times in this match that I thought we were about to see an upset - but Christian was able to use his ring experience to pull out the victory.

After the match, Christian grabbed the mic and let everyone know that indie wrestling will always be safe, when one guy gets called up, there's always someone talented enough to take the spot - and Starboy Charlie is one of those guys.
Another surprising performance came from JJ Garrett - I made a joke about his look early in the match, but by the end he'd won me over. His gimmick is his devastating headlock - being able to throw it on his opponent at will. Lamar was able to hold off Garrett in the end.
Ace Austin and Jordan Oliver delivered big time with Oliver getting a HUGE win over Austin. This match was a typical showcase of big moment moves. Oliver was able to frustrate Austin early in the match and I don't think Austin ever really got passed that.

Manders didn't destroy Logan Stunt in the way I thought he would, but ended up defeating the much smaller Stunt. It was a really good big guy/small guy match in the sense that Stunt never felt out of place in the match, and every thing he did in and out of the ring made sense in this situation.
Some stiff chair shots early from Manders to the dome of Stunt drew audible displeasure from the fans in attendance, but Manders was out for a victory, not cheers, today.

Colby Corino looked really good in his first death match of his career - but it was the 44OH Death Match veteran, Atticus Cogar who took home the victory. Early in the match it looked like Cogar got a deep cut in his ear - seemed a bit concerned about it which offered the opportunity for Corino to dominate for most of the match.
It was only when Gregory Iron came to ringside that Atticus was able to make his move to win the match.

Calvin Tankman and Cole Radrick had another really decent big man/small man match, but Radrick was simply over powered in this one. AJ Gray defeated the host of the show, Jimmy Lloyd - Benjamin Carter was supposed to be Lloyd's opponent, but that's no excuse for the loss. Steve Sanders and Dylan McKay were victorious in the Tag Team battle, while Brayden Lee took home the victory in the opening match scramble.
