Katie Arquette may be a new name for a lot of people, but she has been quite busy wrestling out of the Pittsburgh area and has been able to share the ring with some big names, like Lufisto, Delmi Exo, Kylie Rae, Dr. Britt Baker and others.

I was able to ask The Queen of the Silver Screen a few questions ahead of her debut on Limitless Wrestling’s "The Road".

Don: I have been watching your career in IWC in Pittsburgh, but your debut on Limitless may be the first time that a lot of people will be seeing you.   Can you tell us a little bit about yourself?  Where you trained, who trained you and what that experience was like?

Katie:  I actually trained in Pittsburgh with IWC. They’re my home promotion, and it’s always nice being near by to train and practice. I was trained by both Chris LeRusso and Andrew Palace. Each of their styles are similar yet different in a lot of ways, and I feel like I benefited greatly from both of them.

Don: Pretty early in your career you had the chance to wrestle Nicole Savoy when Rise was in Pittsburgh.  What was it like being in the ring with one of the top female talents and what did you learn from your experience at the Rise taping?

Katie: Having the opportunity to wrestle at Rise was amazing. I truly learned a lot not only from the seminar, but mostly within the locker room. I made a lot of connections and received feedback from multiple women. My match against Nicole Savoy was a game changer. She doesn’t mess around when she’s in the ring, and I’m grateful for that. She pushed me to my limits and gave me a great learning experience. I hope to cross paths with her again in the ring.

Don: You have wrestled some pretty big names already in your career like Dr. Britt Baker, Lufisto and Kylie Rae.  The cage match with Lufisto is the one that particularly stands out in my mind, as it was very brutal.

Can you please let us know what it was like to work with these individuals and who your favorite opponent has been?

Katie: Those three women are always my go to’s when I’m asked about favorite matches and/ or opponents. They each bring something different to the ring which I love. Britt also trained at IWC and she was my first debut match, so learning from her has always been sentimental. Learning from Lufisto (in a cage) was vastly different, but so much fun! She helped me better understand what it means to have a match, especially one like this considering I was still only a few months in at this point. Working with Kylie was quite influential. She was easy to work with and one of the few I have a lot of chemistry with in the ring.

Don: Whenever you won the IWC women’s championship David Arquette came out when you were handed the belt.  That seemed to be a very emotional moment for you.  Can you please tell us what that moment was like and what it meant to you?

Katie: Having David Arquette be there the first time I won the IWC’s Women’s Championship was absolutely incredible. I never thought this moment would actually happen. He was an absolute pleasure to work with to have him come out as the replacement referee and then to raise my hand with the title belt was a great feeling. I hope him and I can find another opportunity to work together.

Don: You have teamed with The Runway in the past.  Is there anyone in Limitless that you would like to team up with?

Katie:  I would definitely be up for any kind of tag team at Limitless! I met a lot of people my first time there, but if I had to pick someone to team up with it’d have to be Kennedi Copeland. She brings a lot of fire and determination, and just never gives up.

Don: What were your feelings going into your debut match at Limitless and what was your experience like there?

Katie: Of course there’s always nerves! But we should all get a little nervous before every match. Going into my first match with Limitless was exciting. It was an entirely new surrounding with higher expectations. This is a great company to be a part of, especially with a new pool of talent and more exposure. I knew going into this match I needed to set a good impression, and hopefully that’s what everyone else thinks!

Check out Katie Arquette as she makes her Limitless Wrestling debut this Wednesday on IWTV at 7PM as she takes on Little Mean Kathleen.  That show will also include Danger Kid against Callux of The Hive and Elia Markopoulos against Alec Price.
