Eric Johnson vs Mike Gamble
The American Sumo Mike Gamble is making his debut on The Road, while Johnson is 5-0. Gamble starts off hot as he hits palm strikes, a splash and dropkick which has Johnson reeling, but he is able to gain the advantage once it goes to the outside of the ring. The match is then very even until Johnson pushes the referee into Gamble while he is up on the 2nd rope. He is then able to take advantage and hit the Johnson Special for the win.
Mac Daniels vs Kennedi Copeland
Mac starts the match by posing in Copeland’s face but is met with a slap and ends up in a submission hold, where Copeland ends up the one posing in the end of the exchange. Copeland is then able to hit a suplex and a bulldog into another submission. After they fight on the outside Mac catches Copeland as she comes off the top and hits 4 consecutive back breakers on her and hits a fallaway toss. He gets a couple near falls, but becomes frustrated when Copeland continues to kick out. Copeland gets the advantage after hitting a crossbody off the top and she locks in an armbar. She looks to have Mac in trouble but his is able to turn the armbar into a pin and hold the rope to get the 3 count and the win.
Zachery Pierre Beaulieu vs Elia Markopoulos
ZPB brings some wine to the ring and Elia appears to be the favorite among the wrestlers in the crowd. Elia has the advantage early on, so ZPB decides to take a wine break, but he is not able to escape Elia as he is hit by him from the top rope on the outside. Elia then hits him with a double axe handle off the ropes once they get back in the ring. ZPB is able to take control, but takes too much time coming off of the top and misses a leg drop. Elia gets a near fall off of a TKO, then grabs some of ZPB’s wine and proceeds to hit the WORM for another 2 count. Elia goes for another TKO, but ZPB is able to slip out and hit a massive lariat for the win.
Davienne vs Christian Casanova
Before the match were get an emotional promo from Davienne. She states that she is not playing some kind of character but is in fact a great wrestler and looks to become the first female Limitless Champion.
Casanova starts out quick and is able to hit a Superkick and Remix for a near fall. Davienne is able to catch another attempt for a Superkick by Casanova and hits him with a clothesline and air raid crash for a 2 count.
After another near fall for Casanova, Davienne is able to catch the culture breaker and turn it into a suplex. The main constant in this match is that they know each other’s moves so well that they are able to predict and/or counter pretty much any maneuver that the other attempts. After countering each other’s moves Casanova is able to hit a Culture Breaker for a near fall and then is finally able to hit Dirty Diana for the win. This was a match that I had been looking forward to and it did not disappoint.
Limitless continues to put on entertaining shows every week. So far announced for next week we have Bobby Orlando defending the Blitzkrieg Pro Bedlam Championship, Danger Kid against Jessie Nolan in her first ever match, and an announcement on the future of the Limitless Championship.
