Camp Love Frog presents: Love Frog Preview by Don Halliwell
Camp Leapfrog is presenting Love Frog on Valentine’s Day on IWTV. Camp Leapfrog has already brought us tremendous shows on Halloween and Christmas and now they now take on the day of love. The campers will bring us plenty of fun and surprises along with some tremendous matches, with the main event being a match that I have been hearing incredible praise from, a battle between everyone’s daddy, Effy, and the piece of artwork herself, Still Life with Apricots and Pears. Both of these competitors are coming off big matches at Fight Forever. Effy had 2 very physical matches against Homicide and Billy Dixon. While he lost both of these matches he put up a hell of a fight. Still Life was on the winning team in the Camp Leapfrog Cibernetico, but fell to MV Young in a 3 way match that also included Ace Perry, whose soul currently belongs to Effy. Still Life has been on a roll, as not only was she part of the wining Cibernetico team, but also part of the winning team of the Christmas Trios. She also had a match of the year candidate at The Collective against Dark Sheik. Still Life is quickly becoming one of the top technical wrestlers, but will have to contend with the experience of Effy. Effy typically uses mind games against his opponent, but I am not sure if that will work against Still Life, as this piece of artwork is someone that will be very hard to throw off her game. While Still Life may have the advantage in technical wrestling, Effy looks to have the advantage if the match goes more to the hardcore side. Effy has gone against some of the toughest wrestlers in the world including Nick Gage, Rickey Shane Page and Eddie Kingston. He has wrestled just about every major name in independent wrestling in the past couple years and has wrestled almost every kind of match, from traditional matches against the likes of Jake Atlas to a dog collar match against Eye Candy Elliott and even a Dollar General Gift Card Ladder match against GQ. If this match goes a little outside of the mood that Valentine’s Day typically brings it could go to the advantage of Effy, but Still Life can lock in a submission at any time and make daddy tap.
In a match that has some history and one that could be very interesting we see Becca go one on one with Love, Doug. This is a match between 2 wrestlers that are mainstays in Limitless Wrestling. Love, Doug tries to spread his love everywhere he goes, but sometimes may get a little overzealous. He is a very entertaining wrestler, but has yet to find too many victories or love in his short career. Becca on the other hand has been very impressive in her matches against such standouts as Davienne, Delmi Exo and Ashley Vox. Becca has constantly been improving and has shown off her very impressive athleticism in her matches. She has been trying to evade Love, Doug’s advances for a while now, whether it is in the ring or him crashing a date in the park, Doug always seems to be around. Love, Doug will try to use the power of Valentine’s Day to his advantage to finally get a victory. Will he finally get the leader of the scrunchie squad, Becca, to fall for him or will he be on the losing end of the match and of love again?
Speaking of love, we are also going to be treated to a Dating Game with Erica Leigh. This seems like it may be intriguing , as Erica is one of the most popular campers, but will this go as planned or will hijinks ensue?
The Pop Flyers (Boomer Hatfield and Molly McCoy) will take on The Runway (Calvin Couture and Tyler Klein) in a contrast of wrestling styles and personalities. The Runway have not made too many friends at camp, as they seem to always be critiquing the other campers, so you have to believe that most of the campers will be behind The Pop Flyers. This could be one on the top matches of the show, as both teams are very entertaining. They both have been together for a couple years now and are at the top of their game. The Pop Flyers may be more experienced in big matches, but The Runway will demand the spotlight and will do everything at their disposal, including bending the rules, to make sure that it stays on them at the end of the match.
In a handicap match A Very Good Professional Wrestler takes on Abby Jane and Abbs. A Very Good Professional Wrestler has been dominant for the past couple years, in Camp Leap Frog and elsewhere, but can he take on 2 campers at once? Abby has been one of everyone’s favorite campers and has shown that she is very tough. She impresses campers and fans alike every time that she comes into the ring and is now teaming up with Abbs, who will be the power on the team. Abbs and Abby will look to get AVGPW off of his game by using the number advantage, along with the speed of Abby and power of Abbs. AVGPW has been trying to make life hard on the campers, but has he taken on too much, thinking that he can take on 2 campers at the same time?
There will also be a 4-way tag between Oreo Speedwagon vs Crushcakes vs The Goons vs Trajan &Ron and a singles match between 2 fast rising stars in Ryan Nova vs Kaia Mckenna. I’m sure there will also be much more of the fun and craziness that we have come to expect from Camp Leapfrog. So, rip open that heart shaped box of candies, maybe pop some candy hearts and spend Valentine’s Day with the Campers, as you never know what will happen, but it is sure to be fun.
