Investing - Dennis Does Doge

So I jumped into the deep end .. or is it the shallow end, of the bitcoin world today. Unless you've been living under a social media rock, the latest craze is Dogecoin.

I see you there with your PBR looking at me like I just said something resembling a Donald Trump quote. "What the fuck is Dogecoin, bro,".

From dogecoin.com:

Dogecoin is a decentralized, peer-to-peer digital currency that enables you to easily send money online. Think of it as "the internet currency."

Dogecoin sets itself apart from other digital currencies with an amazing, vibrant community made up of friendly folks just like you.

I like fun. And I like money - so I invested. Now, I'm going into this completely blind; but not stupid.

I put $15 into the dogecoin fund, using AnchorUSD - that was one of the things that slowed me down the most; figuring out where and how to invest in dogecoin. I knew Robinhood offered dogecoin, but I hear they are as Chip Chipperson would call cocka suckas, and I don't do business with cocka suckas.

Twitter, a cesspool of fakes and clout chasers sometimes proves beneficial, getting a tip from competitive eater now pro wrestler Megabyte Ronnie that you could purchase doge from AnchorUSD.

So with that new knowledge I set off on the world wide web and signed up. I was gifted nothing - no free stocks like Robinhood or Webull; just the dreams and hopes of found fortune.

I sat down with a beer in my hand and big ass dreams in my eyes, hit "Deposit" on my phone and bought fifteen dollars of Doge at .072 ... and it dropped to .070 instantly.

Okay, not instantly, but it felt like it. And in that moment I felt betrayed by every cocka sucka who told me that Doge would rise to a dollar. I could feel sweat beads falling down my face; a minor heart attack and I pooped my pants.

My Brother yelled at me to not poop on the furniture and that investing might not be my thing.

One thing I'm not though, is a quitter. Well ... i mean. Okay, so I've quit a few things but ... who hasn't. Don't look at me like that.

To Be Continued....
