We've all felt like an outcast in our life at one point or another. Treated poorly for once specific thing a person chooses to focus on. The reason could be because of our race, weight, sex, religion, interests, what have you. This week we discuss two films where the lead character is looked at that way due to their own physical deformity. Two films that are so similar, yet so very different. Mask, the biographical film about teenager Rocky Dennis and The Elephant Man, another biographical film but about the young adult John (Joseph) Merrick. Seen a freaks by the public yet treated as normal and like family from their close confidants. We're getting dramatic this week, people. Grab your tissues quick.
