Bum Wine Bob Invades Boston!

Where is the Massachusetts bum wine? That was the question I asked myself all last weekend. For those of you that follow my escapades on twitter and instagram know that I was doing my fair share of bum wine searching this past weekend when I invaded the Boston area. Now I can't talk for Boston itself, or the whole state of Massachusetts, but the Bridgewater area was seriously lacking in bum wine. Trips to 5 different liquor stores, and phone calls to a few others proved to be a disappointment. Note to self: if you run a liquor sore called, "Beer, Wine, and more!" and the "and more" does not consist or bum wine, or even a good selection of Malt Liquor, you should change your stores name. Even after asking the lady if they had any bum wine in stock she had the audacity to ask me if that was something I made up! No lady, read the blog! And if you are reading the blog (since I made a point to give you the web address), I did enjoy the Miller High Life that I purchased instead.

You can't go to Boston and not drink a Sam.
While the search for bum wine was an added bonus, the real purpose of the trip was to enjoy a New York Yankees win at Fenway Park! While I did not know that was going to be the outcome going into the game, it proved to be a great outcome in the end!

Let's go Yankees!
In addition to the game, there was also a trip to the world famous Harpoon Brewery! It's no bum wine, but you can't go wrong with a delicious sampler of Harpoon UFO! I did gain a new follower that day, so I'd like to give a special shout out to ! Being inside the brewery has started more rumblings about trying to brew my own bum wine. Will it happen? I guess you will all have to wait and see!

Harpoon sampler!
Even without any bum wine, it was a fun trip. This was a learning experience for me. I know that from now on I will have to bring my own bum wine and not take my chances on being able to find some new varieties while on the road. All that means is that this coming weekend I will have to make up for the lack of bum wine and just enjoy a few more concoctions! Oh word?

For those of you that wouldn't have thought of this on your own, there is a sign to help remind you.
There will be a new Bum Wine of the Week posted this Friday and also a special unveiling this Saturday! Make sure you are ready!

Until next time! Keep on spreading the good word. What's the word? Thunderbird!
