Have you recovered from your 4th of July hangover yet? We are taking a step back this week and featuring a fairly simple bumwinebob.com beer of the week for your enjoyment. Actually, I had originally planned to post this a few months ago, but ended up drinking too much like usual and forgot about it. I figured this would be a good week to take it easy and cross this one off my beer of the week list.
Most people either love Heineken or they hate it. There rarely seems to be any middle ground when it comes to most peoples opinions on this beer. These days Heineken is in a weird spot on the beer spectrum. Back in the day some people would think about it as something higher class since it was imported, but these days many people just call it a "regular-ass beer" since it's not classified as a "budget beer" or "craft beer".
Heineken has been around since the 1800's and is still going strong today at 5% ABV. It has a very distinctive taste and goes down quick, so it's a great beer to throw back as you sit back and relax on a warm summer day.
