There are wrestlers who keep fans on their toes and have a degree of unpredictability. The best kind of wrestlers are ones who may not be the biggest or strongest but willing to go the extra mile to win. Even though they may lose, they compete and continue to compete until the final bell rings. That brings us to Jayel Cotto who brings all those qualities and more.

Jayel Cotto is tough as nails and a determined competitor. Whether she is the favorite to win or not, she never goes down without a fight. Her strong strikes with her educated feet could strike at any moment during the match, which makes her an entertaining competitor to watch.

Jayel may not dominate in the ring, but all it takes is one firm powerful strike to change the match completely in her favor.

First impressions of Jayel Cotto:

The first time seeing her, her swift strikes were what stood out. She has other pieces to her game, but the strikes make a difference between her being dominated in the ring or completely turning the match around. Her determination with her striking ability shows that even if she is dominated in the ring, no one can count her out of any match.

What Jayel Cotto brings every night:

Jayel is not exactly an underdog, nor is she a dominant force, she is someone who will do what it takes to win, she takes a licking and keeps on ticking. Any competitor in the ring with her is up for a long fight.

Her powerful strikes and her tendency to hit a lethal roundhouse kick at any angle is as sudden as an RKO from Randy Orton. She will always have those kicks as an equalizer in matches where she is outmatched.

Avoiding a sudden strike from Jayel may be easier said than done. She does not tire easily and has very high durability in the ring with a high threshold for taking punishment in the ring to keep the crowd and her opponent on their toes.

Notable appearances:

Has had a WWE try-out and gone to Puerto Rico to compete.

The Future:

Jayel is a true competitor and wherever she goes no matter who is on the roster, she will compete. She doesn’t care if a person may outmatch her in some way, she will give her all even if it means just waiting for the right moment for a strike.

The intriguing aspect of her having a WWE tryout in the past is that some of the greatest had multiple tryouts with WWE or other major companies. Jayel is quickly becoming one of the best pure strikers in the circuit and has a strong case for displaying her skills to WWE, AEW, and impact.

That’s the kind of competitor that would be a great contender for the NXT women’s title or a Knockouts championship with Impact. Someone who knows how to win and is a great potential challenge for the champion and will work hard and keep fans on the edge of their seat with just being one strike away from victory no matter who she is going against.

All of us will be pulling for another tryout or signing with another company in the future because she is a fighter and this fighter delivers every single match, which fans will love with her unpredictability and competitive nature in the ring and will get the crowd fired up night after night.

Stay tuned via her Twitter @JayelCotto to show support and follow her journey as she fights her opponents. Without a doubt we will see her on television and that same feeling will be amplified on television on a weekly basis whether it’s WWE, Impact, or AEW.
