ROH TV Recap: Episode 442

Ring of Honor TV: Episode 442
By Dylan Hager

Time for another week of ROH TV!

We start this week with a look back at PCO vs Rush from Atlanta and all the fallout from that match. Tonight's main event is PCO and Marty Scurll vs Rush and Nick Aldis from Free Enterprise.

Quinn McKay welcomes us to the show and sends us to the first match.

Rey Horus vs Brody King
This match is also from the Free Enterprise event. Brody picked up the win following a Gonzo Bomb. The match was back and forth from bell to bell. Horus is a really good pickup for ROH. He showed off his quickness and high flying in this match. In the end, King's size was too much for Horus. King could be a huge singles star in ROH. Really solid match to start this weeks episode! Winner: Brody King

Next we see video packages for Homicide and Delirious to hype the upcoming Past vs Present show, and it is time for Brian Zane's Top 5 Unlikely tag teams in ROH history. 5 - Charlie Haas and Rhett Titus, 4 - Low Ki and Homicide, 3 - BJ Whitmer and Jimmy Jacobs, 2 - Christopher Daniels and Matt Sydal, 1 - Cheeseburger and Jushin Thunder Liger.

Speaking of Sydal, we see a Matt Sydal package hyping Past vs Present.

Quinn McKay is backstage with Rush, Kenny King, and Amy Rose. They complain about Rush having to team with Aldis.

We see another Past vs Present hype package, this time for the Havana Pitbulls. Main event time!

Nick Aldis and Rush vs PCO and Marty Scurll
NWA Champ on one side, ROH Champ on the other! PCO and Marty took the early advantage. PCO missed his dive onto the apron, allowing Aldis and Rush to take over. Marty and PCO made several small comebacks throughout the match, but Rush and Aldis always maintained control. A miscommunication between Rush and Aldis led to Rush walking away from the match. PCO pinned Aldis after a PCO-sault to win the match. Really good match to main event this week! Winner: Marty Scurll and PCO

But wait, there is more! We get a Doug Williams video for Past vs Present. Quinn is back! She talks about Rush winning the title from PCO in St. Charles. We get a video package hyping up the 18th Anniversary ppv this Friday!

That's all for this weeks episode. Be sure to check out the 18th Anniversary show and Past vs Present on March 13th and 14th respectively.
