Shine 66 Recap by Don Halliwell
To open the show an announcement was made that the challengers for the tag team titles, Dynamite Didi and Rocky Radley were not medically cleared. This prompts the champions, BTY, Marti Belle and Jayme Jameson come to the ring with 2 additional wrestlers. Marti Belle says that they were told they needed to defend the belts, or they would lose them. She says that the 2 wrestlers that they brought to the ring are Girl 1 and Girl 2 and they will be the challengers for the championship. The challengers look very scared and nervous and the champs take them out and score the pinfall win in a matter of seconds.
After the “victory” Kimber Lee comes out. Kimber lists off her accomplishments and says that she will find someone to take on BTY. Stormy Lee comes out next and gets in Kimber’s face, stating that she will find a partner and challenge for the championship. After some fighting, they agree that while neither one likes it, they will team up to take on the champs together.
Erica Torres (the American witch) vs Harlow O’Hara
I have never seen Torres wrestle before, but I am a big fan of Harlow. Harlow appears to have new gear and a new hair color. Her hair is a golden color and gear is gold and black. They lock up and Erica goes for quick pin attempts, but Harlow takes her down and hits a running elbow in the corner followed by a hard clothesline for a 2 count. She goes after Erica in the corner, but Erica moves and hits Harlow with an exploder suplex for a 2 count of her own. Harlow puts Erica in the ropes and hits multiple knees followed by a running knee. She then uses her power, and some hair pulls to keep the advantage. Harlow goes to the second rope, but Erica grabs her, picks her up, runs her into the opposite corner and then puts her down with a power slam. Erica is really showing off her power here. She comes off the ropes, but Harlow gives her a German suplex followed by a falcon’s arrow for a near fall. These two very strong women are throwing everything they have at each other. Harlow throws Erica in the corner and hits her with a big chop. They are both on the top and Erica slips out and folds up Harlow with her head exposed. Erica hits a running dropkick, then picks Harlow up and powerbombs her to the mat. Erica starts trash talking and Harlow catches her with a backfist followed by the Last Rites for the win. This was a very hard-hitting match with both competitors emptying their tank and putting on a battle. Erica showed that she has a lot of power and I would like to see more of her in the future.
Sahara Se7en vs Ava Everett
Ava tries to avoid Sahara early but gets caught in the corner and gets hit with a hip attack followed by a running forearm. Sahara follows this up with a fisherman’s suplex, but Ava is the first to get up and stomps on Sahara, who rolls out of the ring. Ava slams Sahara’s head on the apron and rolls her back in the ring. Sahara hits another fisherman’s suplex, then a couple kicks to Ava. She tries to pick up Ava, but Ava slips away and stomps her in the corner, then hits a double knee in the corner. She then gets Nova up and hits a Samoan drop. Recks keeps Nova grounded and hits a low dropkick to the face. Nova catches Recks running in the corner and rolls her up for a pin attempt, but Recks escapes and hits a bicycle kick for a near fall. Recks pulls on Nova’s arms while stepping on her head and hits her hard with a curb stomp. She locks in a full nelson on the mat, but Nova is able to power up and hits Recks with a running forearm followed by a series of uppercuts. She then grabs Recks’ head with her legs and slams it into the turnbuckle, this is followed up with a leg lariat and Nova is firmly in control. Nova keeps the momentum going with a crossbody followed by a running knee in the corner and a suplex with a bridge for a near fall. Nova locks in a very impressive arm bar with a bridge but Recks gets to the ropes. The ref makes Nova break the hold and as Nova goes after Recks, Recks rolls her up in a small package for the victory. Recks may have come out of this match still the champion, but Nova looked very impressive and it looks like she may have more big matches in her future.
Shine Nova championship.

WOAD leaves the ringside area and Markova is the victor, but does not look that way as she needs help going to the back.
Sparkle Showcase match-- Katalina Perez vs Chelsea Durden
Chelsea has a very intimidating look and looks to use her strength advantage. Perez counteracts this by using her speed and is able to counter Durden. However, Durden slides under Perez’s legs and trips Perez headfirst on the apron. Durden uses her strength and aggression on the outside, then throws Perez in the ring, where she jumps on her, hitting her with some ground and pound, then multiple leg drops. They exchange chops with Durden coming out with the advantage and choking Perez with her legs in the corner. She goes to pin Perez, but Perez locks in a choke hold. They exchange forearms and Perez hits multiple lariats. Perez gets thrown to the corner, but hits multiple kicks, followed by an elbow from the 2nd rope. She goes for a pin, but Durden kicks out and hits a fisherman neckbreaker for the win. Perez showed a lot of fight, but Durden’s power and tenacity was just too much for her.

Jayme hits Kimber with a suplex, then Marti tags in, as she wants to suplex Kimber too. She hits the suplex on Kimber, then a running knee and gets a 2 count. Jayme gets the tag but appears to tweak her knee while working Kimber over in the corner. Kimber takes advantage, but Jayme is able to work her over to the BTY corner. Marti wants to pick up Stormy for their finisher but changes her mind and hits a running bulldog, saying that she can win it by herself. Once Marti turns around Stormy hits her with a forearm and a flatliner. Stormy makes the tag and Kimber hits a swanton for the win. Even after winning the championship Kimber and Stormy do not appear that they are on the same page or even like each other. They went into this show thinking they were going to fight each other but ended up as the Tag Team Champions.
