Limitless Wrestling's "The Road" Season 3 Episode 8

Dangerkid vs Channing Thomas

These are two wrestlers that are usually in tag teams, Channing Thomas in The Prestige and Dangerkid in Maine State Posse, but they are going alone tonight.   Channing is showing absolutely no respect for the veteran DK early.  They exchange some holds on the mat and are pretty even.  DK trips Channing on the ropes and hits a senton off his back.  Channing rolls out of the ring and DK tries to fly at him but BRG serves as a distraction and Channing throws DK into the ringpost multiple times.  He then wraps DK’s arms around the metal part of the turnbuckle and pulls on it.  Once he gets DK in the ring he continues to work on the arm. DK fights back with some kicks, but his arm is still in pain and he walks into a dropkick to the arm by Channing.  Channing hits a northern lights suplex, and continues to work on DK’s arm.  DK gets to his feet and Channing misses in the corner.  DK kicks Channing in the corner and hits an overhead suplex. DK tries to get Channing up again, but cannot because of his arm, however he is able to hit Channing with some flying knees.  DK goes to the top but BRG distracts him.  Channing pulls something out of his tights and hits DK with it.  DK falls out of the ring and is not able to answer the 10 count.  Channing picks up a cheap win, but you have to think that Dangerkid and MSP are going to look for some revenge.

Bobby Orlando vs Tyree Taylor

Bobby, as usual, has Bobby Jr with him, but I don’t think that is going to help him against Tyree Taylor.  Bobby is going to have to take this match very serious, as Taylor has a new attitude and is not looking to joke around.  Taylor uses his power advantage early and Bobby goes out the ring and tells Bobby Jr to go after Taylor.  Taylor picks up Bobby JR, chokes him, and throws him out of the ring, which fires up Orlando. Bobby fires chops to Taylor, then tries a monkey flip, but Taylor lands on his feet and catches Bobby with a right hand.  Taylor takes control and uses his strength to dominate Bobby and turn away any offense that Bobby tries.  Taylor gets Bobby up, but Bobby gets away and hits him with a flying dropkick from the turnbuckle.  Bobby then hits an Ace Crusher from the 2nd rope and goes for the pin, but Taylor kicks out at two.   Bobby tries to pick up Taylor, but Taylor is having none of it.  He then goes for a backcracker, but Taylor holds onto the ropes and hits the discus lariat for the win.  Apparently beating Bobby was not enough for Taylor, as he then attacks Bobby JR and pins him too.  Tyree Taylor has been on a winning streak since falling to Big Beef at Double Vision.  His new attitude may not be gaining him any friends, but it is getting him a lot of victories.

Eric Johnson vs Dave Dyer

Johnson has been undefeated on The Road and has went through all his competition in impressive fashion and Dyer, who was one of Johnson’s students, is looking for that upset.  Johnson drops Dyer to start the match, but Dyer distracts the ref and hits a low blow followed by a DDT, giving him a near fall.  Dyer tries to run at EJ but gets caught and driven to the mat with a gut wrench slam.  EJ then splashes on Dyer’s back and has the clear advantage, as he strikes Dyer with some punches and works on his back.  However, Dyer is able to get his knees up and EJ crouches himself on them.  Dyer gets the momentary advantage, but EJ gets him in a bearhug, which looks to do a lot of damage, but Dyer bites EJ to get out and hits EJ with a flying bulldog from the turnbuckle.  Dyer tries to get EJ up, but only hurts his back in the process.  EJ pokes Dyer in the eye and hits him with a swinging sidewalk slam for the win to continue his streak.

Alec Price & The Competition, Champ Mathews and Conner Murphy vs The Syndicate, BA Tatum and Owen Brody, & Ace Romero

This should be a very interesting matchup, as The Competition is coming off a loss, but a very impressive showing against MSP and Alec  Price is arguably the fastest rising star in Limitless.  They are going up against 3 of the toughest wrestlers in Limitless.  Before the bell even rings, The Competition and Price are already fighting for camera time, so I am not sure how this team will work together.  Brody and Price start the match, but Price flips off everyone on the other team and Ace come in.  Murphy says that he wants Ace, as he wants to catch that body, but gets hit with some chops when he comes in the ring.  Ace tosses Murphy into his corner, and Murphy makes the tag to Champ.  Champ tries to give Ace a rana, but Ace turns it into a powerbomb.  Murphy hits Ace with a dropkick from the corner and The Competition go for the Cranium Crush, but Ace moves and they crash into each other.  Ace brings Champ to his corner and The Syndicate work him over.  B.A. hits a fall away slam, then they hit the Syndicate Sunset and get a near fall on Champ.  B.A.  hits a powerful spinning sidewalk slam and Brody crushes Champ with an elbow off the top.  Brody follows this up with the Fly By and B.A. gets the Midnight Snack.  Ace decides to join the party, giving Champ a cannonball in the corner.  Champ seems to be fighting back, but gets hit with 2 Fly Byes from Brody, however on the second one, Murphy runs at Brody on the apron and gives him a big boot.  This allows Champ to make the tag to Price.  Price gets Brody up for a vertical suplex and makes the tag to Murphy.  The Competition are able to hit the Cranium Crush this time and Price hits the surprise kick, which typically signals the end for his opponents, but B.A. makes the save.  Brody is able to hit a leg sweep on Price and looks to make the tag, but The Competition knock The Syndicate off of the apron.  They are able to isolate Brody in the corner and hit an impressive T-Gimmick, blockbuster combo on him, but he somehow kicks out at two.    Champ continues to stomp out Brody, pushing him against the turnbuckle from a handstand.  Brody is finally able to counter with a spinning suplex from the second rope and makes the tag to Ace.  Ace goes right for Price.  He tosses Price around the ring before setting Murphy up for a double team maneuver from The Syndicate.  Champ hits a rana on Ace, then uses him to launch onto Brody on the floor.  Ace dives onto The Competition, leaving Price in the ring.  Price hits a dropkick off of Mathews onto Ace and follows it up with a kick to Ace’s head in the corner.  Brody comes in, but Price hits him with a chop block.  Price goes for a surprise kick, but Ace hits him with a pounce.  Champ looks for a kick on Ace, but Ace flips him over onto the ropes, then hits him with a package piledriver for the win.  After the match Price and Ace face off.  Price slaps Ace in the face then walks away.  It looks like the feud between Alec Price and Ace Romero is not over, which is fine by me, as their matches have been incredible.
