the fad wore off already? Yesterday at 3PM EST All Elite Wrestling's favorite villain you love to hate, Maxwell Jacob Friedman became the first professional wrestler to have his own cryptocurrency, the aptly titled MJF Coin ($MJF) on Rally.
Rally has created what they call the "Creator Coin,". A custom branded digital currency for content creators & their communities providing better engagement & value via better economics.
From what I've educated myself on the MJF Coin - it's a bit different than traditionally coins - but I'm far from an expert on these matters so you are best to do your own research before investing any of your cash.
Initially I thought it was some sort of joke, but then realized quickly that it was in fact real. Skeptical but filled with liquid courage I invested a cool 10 bucks into my account and almost pissed my pants when I immediately made five cents.
FIVE CENTS you say. Why yes, this was the biggest financial win for me of 2021. It's been a rough year. And don't get me started on AMC. Had I not gotten a cold ball sack in February I would have had a pretty nice June. But that's investing, right?
For the first three hours that I was in the game on MJFCoin it was nothing but solid gains - but then 10PM came along and the floor fell out for a bit.
I finished my natty ices and my sack of McDonald cheese burgers and cried myself to sleep - gone, again, was the hookers and cocaine my day trading alter ego dreams of.
But alas, it's made a nice bounce back this morning - my question is this however: Will the price explode tonight if he mentions it on AEW Dynamite, or will this just be a cute conversation piece five years from now when I'm giving out hand jobs to recoup bad financial advice I took from strangers on Reddit?

I've currently doubled my small investment of 30 bucks. It'll be interesting to see what wrestlers jump into the game. I can see EFFY and Zicky Dice, both extreme forward thinkers in this business, finding themselves selling bitcoins - but I think the real game changer would be Nick Gage creating an MDKCoin - can you imagine GCW creating events that you can only purchase tickets with MDKCoins? (I stole this idea from my buddy Jake, I'm in no way this creative).
