Four Loko Fridays are BACK with Four Loko Sour Grape as the bumwinebob.com malt beverage of the week! We already had a preview of this new Four Loko when our good friend, Big Money Monika "The Queen Of Rice" did a special guest review for us a few months ago, but now it's time for Bum Wine Bob to give it a shot!
After the reds, the blacks, and the golds of the world, Four Loko has gone back to it's roots with a beverage that's named after what it's supposed to taste like (not counting the Frost and the Blaze). This is the second beverage in their "sour" line of drinks after they released Four Loko Sour Apple a few years ago.
Four Loko Sour Grape does taste like grape, but it's not really sour. Now it's been quite a while since I've had a regular standard grape Four Loko, so I cannot give a comparison to see if this one does indeed taste more sour than the original. It does come in at 14% ALC/VOL like many of it's friends, so at least it has that going for it. Overall it's not that bad of a malt beverage, but it's still a Four Loko, so you know what to expect.
